  1. just ordered 2 mack DM600 kits and 2 moebius smooth side trailers, both pre-orders for when they come out.
  2. got an italeri pete 377 A/E in the mail from amazon yesterday, $41, thought that was a good deal.
  3. yes, Anthony builds some awesome looking stuff. tough to choose a favorite build from others, as I said before, just so much good looking stuff coming from you guys.
  4. lol, well, I am in then now, will it be an R model, a cruise liner, or a super liner...........
  5. eh...we got a time frame for this? I have some mack kits I can build, but are we talking done in april, or start in april and what happens happens?? I am slow to build as you all know, and have the titan and car hauler on the bench now, so, if time frame is no issue, i'd be in.
  6. nice to see this on the bench again, still looks cool! where did you get the pro-stars? I need two of them for a project myself.
  7. congrat's! built that same crib 6 months ago for our first grand kid the fun is about to begin
  8. outstanding details, how big a magnifier are you using??? I'd lose the stuff on the bench without touching it lol.
  9. looking good Ray! you're on a roll, will be watching this.
  10. looking good [in both versions], looking forward to seeing the restoration.
  11. that's some killer looking builds guys! wow, just wow! I am amazed at how big these things really are, saw my first one in person at a show last week, it dwarfed our 25th scale rigs! i'd love to build one, but where to put it when done????????????
  12. colors are going to look great together, will be watching this come together.
  13. of my own, probably this, as far as others builds, man, that's a tough one! all you guys have built cool looking stuff that has inspired me in one way or another, gonna have to really think on it to pick a favorite, if I even can, just too much awesome stuff to chose from.
  14. I love it! love the color, and the driver is pretty cool too! I will be getting one of these kits now that I see how cool it can look, well done Ray.
  15. lol, kinda going for a custom look, as it would be a rig owned by Baldwin Motion for delivering the cars, so not really a fleet rig.
  16. just beautiful, another masterpiece, incredible work yet again! p.s. I really need a set of those wheels
  17. ok, it is officially on the bench now no pic's yet, but I have the frame and partial suspension glued together. I kinda forgot how big a pain it is when the parts are not numbered, lol. I do however have a bit of a dilemma........unsure of what color to paint the frame as the body is light blue, and the hauler will be light blue, I want to stay away from doing the frame light blue [would be too much I think], black seems logical, but for some reason I am leaning towards white...........any thoughts on that possible choice? I also plan on doing a white interior, only due to the fact that this is meant to be a 'white glove' type hauler, and to really get people fired up, the engine will be the same color as all the big blocks in the Camaro's, just as a way to tie the whole project together. so that's where I am at this evening, stay tuned for more of 'phase two'............
  18. that is really going to pop once the bmf is on it, love the color combo, looking great.
  19. those wheels and tires look fantastic!
  20. thanks all i plan to start 'phase two' tonight when i get home from work, going to feel good to work on something other than a camaro............. here is the link to 'phase two' of this project, http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97349
  21. I must say, I laughed out loud when I saw the progress on this, not at the work mind you, but at the way it looks [ I mean that in a good way], this is sooooo cool! I love the headlight covers! it looks like it's mad.....terrific build!
  22. matching paint scheme on the truck as well would probably look cool.
  23. Dan, my original plan was a hauler full of 66 chevelle cars/wagons/elcamino's, which I have all the kits to do, plus I have two of the revell kits that have truck/trailer/Camaro/firebird combo. we may eventually need a road trip or a good photo editor, lol.
  24. Joe, I hear ya, it's amazing what you can pull off with some focus, time and determination.
  25. wow, lot of cutting there, looks great so far. this is gonna be another out of the park build, keep it going
