  2. Joe, looking spectacular! now, just throwing this out there, will there be hose clamps on the heater hoses at the firewall? looking forward to the next update
  3. wait till you see the whole 'she-bang' plans now include a 'power plus' gas station kit done up in Baldwin Motion theme and a few more tid bits. this may become the project that never ends.............. Jeff, thanks
  4. Tom, as far as losing interest, I have my eye on the big picture [cars/titan 90/ car hauler], and as I started each new color car 'completion' it almost felt like a new model, so it kept me going. I hope that makes some sense. time savings? well, I usually take a month to build something [car/rig etc.], right now I am four days shy of 4 months on this project, so I guess I 'saved' 2 months. to be honest, the other thing that got my blood really pumping again on this adventure was going to the Spring Thaw show this past weekend, seeing the 4 completed ones on the show table in surroundings other than my model room let me see them in a different light [literally], and that got my enthusiasm up as well. I am quite certain I will never do 6 at once again, two maybe, 6?, forget about it
  5. cool project, will be following along, multiples at once are getting popular
  6. rolling right along, tonight saw the addition of the PE emblems, bumpers and the rest of the under hood stuff. all I have left is the exhaust [paint drying], paint the underside of the hood, add the hood pins and put the mirrors on. should be able to wrap this up Friday night [got bowling tomorrow night]. number 6 should hit the bench Saturday morning
  7. you will enjoy building that kit, look forward to seeing your progress. and welcome back to building

    81 Camaro Z28

that's a good looking build right there. and yes, I can relate, need to do a replica of my 66 chevelle and 71 Camaro ss eventually.
  18. that is stunning, wow, just beautiful. well done sir.
  19. fantastic build, love the color, nice clean work. I think the billboards would look perfect on this though
  20. looks incredible. superb paint work as well. on mine, I had hood issues as well, mine was the shaker scoop hitting the underside of the hood, the second part was the 'hinges' hitting the bottom of the windshield glass, once I trimmed the shaker scoop base some, and got my windshield fully seated to the roof, my hood fit pretty flat.
  21. beautiful!! excellent job on this build, looks fabulous Jeff.
  22. Jeff, that looks unreal! great job on it. picked up the front end bits from Gary at the show yesterday, eventually I will build my lonestar..........
  23. thanks guys, I was pretty surprised to win anything. Sam, congrat's to you as well, nice job. Jeff, even with the surrounding area weather being crappy, turn out was good. I also picked up the lonestar front end bits from Gary Wallace
