  2. that is a cool looking build, poor thing has had a rough run, lol. what is the deal with the frame on these kits? they that bad to deal with?
  3. ok, didn't see these today, or ever in person, but photos of photos that my grand dad took. a couple of them are dated 1978, the others, I am unsure of the date, but must be fairly close.
  4. long story short, I have to empty my recently passed grandmothers apartment. while starting that process today after work, I came across this small glass. it's larger than a shot glass, but too small to be a drinking glass. my grandfather sold GMC rigs and trailmobile trailers, must be this was some sort of promotional gadget. I put a paper towel in it to try to make the lettering show up better. I thought it was kinda cool.
  5. these were waiting for me when I got home,
  6. well, I got to looking at the cab of this while waiting for other stuff to dry on my titan/hauler project, and decided I didn't like how it was looking, so......, the cab is now sitting in brake fluid to strip it. will be back on this most likely after my current project is done. anyone make 'Hunter Green' in lacquer??

  14. Glad to be able to help out, that's why we are all here, share what we know and help each other to build the best we can. I have certainly gotten a lot of help here, so I am more than willing to pass on what little knowledge I have if it helps others.

  16. Joe, looking great man! engine is looking good so far, and I like the scoop as well.
  17. Kevin, looking great so far, paint work is awesome! question though, should the front side marker light/lens be red or amber? in the pic it looks red, I am thinking it should be yellow/amber.......but I could be wrong.

  21. thank you everyone, was quite the project [and still not done]. Ken, ya know what, when I was building these I kept looking at the 'hose clamps' wanting to do something with them, and after posting the pictures, they caught my eye again, and again I though, 'gee, I really need to do something with those'. looks like when I get a few minutes, I will paint them, I also need to put plates on 2 more of them, they are wearing '69 vintage NY plates.
  22. got another KW K123, have 2 mack dm's ordered and two smooth side trailers ordered [both were pre orders, hope to get them soon] and I ordered a big boy 16th scale KW today
