  1. thanks everyone for keeping me going on this! your input keeps me dialed in to finish this. Steve, the door panel trim is done in BMF, wasn't easy in a few spots, but worth the effort. give it a shot, you'll like the results. as of today, I have most of the last two interiors done, need to finish off the dash boards and paint the steering wheels, should have that stuff done tomorrow. no pic's yet, but started BMF'ing one of the bodies, hopefully tomorrow I can get in the BMF zone and get a few bodies done. as usual, thanks for following along, and look for some new pic's tomorrow night.........
  2. this really turned out great, awesome job Sean
  3. i'm liking it! I really like the cab paint and decal colors, really works well together. whole color combo is pretty sweet really. keep at it, looking good. hopefully all the other stuff you have going on straightens out soon for you.
  4. sweet! that interior is a work of art. as mentioned, wheels/tires look dy-no-mite!
  5. thanks everyone, it's been a bit of a challenge, but I am getting closer, your comments are much appreciated and keep me chipping away on this project. I hope to get a lot done this weekend, plan on spending some quality time at the bench. I have a few things to try to make headliners for the cars, still need to finish off the last two interiors, and have to BMF all of the bodies. once those tasks are complete, things should really start happening as far as completing some cars. Al, I think I had posted the color before, but I think it got 'lost' during that week the site had some issues. it is actually a GM color called 'Green O'Clock' [atleast that's what it says on the can], it is used on 1:1 Camaros from a few years ago [2010 maybe?], I saw it on a new spark at work, on that car I think it's called dragon green or the like. it comes as a two can kit, base coat green, and a green tint top coat. after looking at it some, it's pretty close to testors lime ice [i think that's what it's called], although I think it may be a bit darker. if you like, I can dig up the GM part number for it if you wanted to order some. thanks again for following along, stay tuned for new pic's over the weekend........
  6. one word.....WOW!

  9. JT, this is gonna be awesome, man you got the knack for building different, eye appealing rigs! Jeff, we live in NY, we get 4 seasons in a day sometimes and lets face it, lately, 20 degrees is a heat wave
  10. Joe, I gotta stop looking at this thread, cause you keep putting ideas in my mind for my Camaro builds........just stop already would ya?? lol I am not doing wire harnesses for 6 cars, not gonna happen....... keep it up man, you're a detail animal, I love it!!
  11. so far, I like how it's going, but I see some assembly issues that are gonna be tough to deal with, all the added stuff kind of gets in the way of things, so not sure how it's all gonna go once all the stuff is glued to the chassis and I try to stuff them all together......thanks for looking, and stay tuned................
  12. thanks all, your replies are keeping me going on this insane project Gene, yes MM leather, brush painted over white sprayed on primer. todays update, all 6 chassis are now rollers with engines installed. I decided to add brake lines off the master cylinders, so did that little exercise 6 times, after that, I thought I would mock up a couple of the cars to get a feel for how things were looking,
  13. that looks great, nice rebuild on a cool old wrecker.
  14. looking great! that black truck is a beauty, I can see why it got you going.

  19. looking good! I don't know about you, but I have a hard time foiling silver cars, hard to tell where the foil ends, and color begins at times, really plays with your eyes sometimes.
  20. fantastic work on these so far, excellent job.
  21. that color is just fabulous, and that interior......forget about it.....holy smokes that's nice!
  22. looks great! yup, nothing like using a 1/2 sheet of BMF on one car
  23. I too am guilty of making laps, haha. never know what you'll spot that you missed the first 300 times around. I find it funny that in the short time I have been going to shows, you guys have pointed out almost everything I have encountered.
  24. looking forward to being there again this year, great show. Bill, not sure if my current project will be done in time, but I will need some table space......so don't hog it all
  25. exactly the way I feel as well. you'd think being in the auto biz, building models would be the last thing on the list of things to do, but boy, I do find it relaxing.
