hi all, I am doing this kit to pull a revell auto transporter which will be full of the Baldwin motion 69 Camaro's that I have going on in the cars wip section [doing 6 at once, what a project...] it will be awhile before I really dive into this, but I pulled out the cab and got it in color, and added some matching Baldwin motion stripes to try to ultimately tie together the whole project. so, here is where I am at now, as I say, gonna be a bit before I dive in fully, but thought i'd post up what I had so far. thanks for looking.

again, thanks guys Joe, the transmissions will be painted aluminum, I left them orange for now so I could handle them. Carl, bench is kinda crowded now, haha. so, engine shop is closed, other than trans paint, engines are done, got another interior about done, and the Titan cab got cleared, and some matching decals applied, doesn't seem like it, but got a lot done in the past couple of days. hopefully more to come soon...... -
great looking car! I did a frame off on a 71 as well, got it to the body being in primer , running, almost road worthy[after several years] and had to sell it. biggest changes I made were to install and wire in an SS dash, and added a non functional cowl hood [no flapper in hood] and put a 12 bolt posi out of a 69 chevelle in it. yours is a beautiful looking car. years later, I bought a 71 Camaro SS, black on black, 350/4sp, 34k miles on it, numbers matching, that's kind of why i'd like to see more of the 70 SS model, I want to replicate the 71 I had eventually, need to find a full bumper and proper turn signal lenses/valance parts.

How can one bend time?
tbill replied to The Creative Explorer's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
having little kids chews up time, no two ways about it. it's probably why a lot of us here have gotten back into the hobby in the last few years, kids grown, and now we have time to be at the bench. it's a shift in priorities really. I get your original post, you're fine with doing family things, but a few more hours in a day would be nice to sit and do 'me time'. I bet with a little thought, and a talk with the wife about each of you getting an hour or two to yourselves would be pretty productive, each of you might be able to carve out a few hours a week to focus on some 'me time', as I am sure with two youngsters, an hour or two of quiet time to yourselves would be very welcome. -
WOW! very nice! now, would love to see more of the 70 Camaro, and how about some pic's of the 1:1 car you completed?

my son and I would primarily just bash around the back yard with them, I got a huge back yard, so we'd build ramps and what not and just have a blast. every now and again, we'd get together with a few guys and go over to a local track and mess around. never raced, as that seemed like work to me, plus I never could drive worth a BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, lol. I was buying fuel for @ $25 a gallon for trinity monster power 25%. I do miss the smell of nitro -
here are a few more pic's of the impala,

thanks guys, you all are keeping me motivated I had a little burst of energy when I got home today from work, got one more motor about done [need oil filter and alt bracket], and got some color on the Titan 90 cab. here is a sneak peek at the Titan, hope to finish up the motors tomorrow, then it may be onto chassis details, as always, thanks for following, and stay tuned..... -

Bill, i hear that, i still have all the r/c stuff in the garage, i figure i have about 10k wrapped up in all that stuff, but now the market has passed for the kinda stuff i have, so it sits there untill i feel like playing with it again, rather than take a huge loss on selling it all.
