  1. almost there....... so far, the biggest issues were what was mentioned earlier, hood hinge/hood fit/bumper in the way. the door pins/hinges weren't too awful bad, but the hood has really messed with me, but I think I got it. also had a bit of a war with the exhaust front pipe, but I think that may have been due to operator error
  2. that's freakin cool! nice build, that's a neat piece!
  3. well, my picture taking sucks, but, what can ya expect from a cell phone camera?? second completion for this year [yes, it was a left over from 13, but done just the same ] other than the decals 'silvering', i'm happy with it. it's actually this color, bad lighting around here..... thanks for looking
  4. this thing is just cool man, cool!
  5. that's a good thing, my wifes the same way, she calls me her plastic geek now, lol. upside is, now when she tells me to go to my room, i'm happy, haha.
  6. Bob, looking great so far, looks like you know what your doing [or real good at faking it ]. as far as 'getting it past the wife', just do like I did, " honey, it's a mid-life crisis, better it be plastic than buying a flashy sports car we can't afford and hanging out at the bar. plus, i'm home and in the other room" that worked so well, she buys me kits on occasion, and lets me wander hobby lobby on my own [with my own basket no less]
  7. some more progress, almost there, starting to look like something.................. thanks for looking, tom
  8. Robert, they also have picket fence for doll houses, they come in a pack of 5, cut the tips of the fence off, and you pretty much have a pallet
  9. nice build O-man, love it!
  10. what else is there to say? I agree with everyone else, beautiful, stunning and spectacular builds, every one of them.
  11. looks great so far, I have whats left of some frame rails from a diamond reo if you want them to extend your frame, I used part of them to extend the frame on my mack r and log trailer set up.
  12. just love this thing! I have a set of wheels and tires from the re-issued diamond reo amt kit if you are interested.
  13. thanks guys Robert, that floor is actually doll house wood flooring. I bought it at hobby lobby thinking it might work out, after getting home with it it turned out the individual wood 'planks' of the doll house flooring were the same width as the 'plank' details on the trailer floor. overall length was a bit short, but I cut another piece and put that up front. I also stained it with some stuff I had laying around. here is a pic of the flooring
  14. looks good, love the color combo!
  15. that is well done! beautiful job! that must of been quite the workout on your patience, but well worth it I think.
  16. Well,it's the first completion of the new year, nothing major, but it did present it's own little challenges. you wouldn't think it'd be that hard to glue a box together so anyway, here it is.... soon to be paired with this, as always, thanks for reading, tom
  17. I used to play porsche's unleashed [on PC], loved that game! now it doesn't work on any system I have had the force feedback wheel and all, was a blast to play.
