  2. progress....[couldn't pull off the color/shading on the air bags with what I had on hand, so stuck with flat black]
  3. nice! looks like the typical NY barn find vette, but those all ran when parked
  4. hit hobby lobby and michaels today, and got a few thing in the mail the past few days, bought a bunch of paint too. here's this weeks haul, and got this one a week ago or so
  5. more possibilities found at the hobby lobby! I was wandering around again and just for kicks, hit the doll house isle again. I found two things of interest, scale pine flooring and what I would call bead board/wainscoat[sp?]. here is the 'flooring' i'm thinking good trailer bed material. the 'bead board' thinking possible good pick up bed material. it may not work out, but I thought what the heck, maybe it will. just thought i'd pass it along.
  6. thanks. I also found some at Spaulding's since I posted this thanks to another member.

  12. hi all. i found some necklace chain at hobby lobby that is real close to the bit of chain that comes in the amt flatbed trailer kit. found it in silver and a gunmetal looking color, the big question is, what the heck do i use for hooks? i have seen the chain binders on the 'bay, but no hooks. what're you all using?

  14. as mentioned, wild colors, but boy, you pulled it off! great looking rig.
  15. she's a beauty! I like the two tone blue, wouldn't have thought light blue would look that good on that truck, good choice.

  17. Doobie and Clayton, I was looking at those parts the other day, and yes, they do look quite fragile will have to address that for sure when I get to it. thanks for the heads up. now, onto to good bits making progress on the power plant, have most of the frame/running gear together and painted [currently in dehydrator]. question.....frame is gloss black, should air bags be flat black or gray as indicated by the instructions? [who follows those??]
