  1. Thanks Rusty. Got alot more detailing to go in here.
  2. Man......I dunno where to even START!!!! WOW!!!
  3. Alright Mark....you've definitely got my interest going here. Looking forward to seeing this one with those decals on it.
  4. Yeah those glass gondolas are HELL to mask off and to get looking right but it looks like you stood up to the task very well. Good looking 111 Phillip.
  5. Thank you Ian. 'Preciate the comments!
  6. Love anything from Don Nicholson. Good looking representation!!
  7. Very good work and funny acquisition story. Looks great Claude!!
  8. Good looking build Aymer! Nice!!!
  9. Love these old 111's. Just a beautiful lookin' bird and you're doing a good job on this one here.
  10. That IS a good start Rob. Looking forward to more.
  11. That's what I thought. I actually added that listing to my watch list already. I'll snag it up if it doesn't go too high.
  12. After a flippin' WEEK this is what I've got. Seat belts, rudder pivot and pedals all installed. The belts were Eduard color parts that I took the liberty of weathering up a bit as well as weathering the whole cockpit area. This whole instrument panel ordeal that's coming up is gonna be a pretty big task. I have the Eduard color IP but it aint gonna work with the Aires IP. No cheating for me on this go round with that as it's gonna be down to the nitty gritty with the detail painting. Ya know fellas....the one thing that I absolutely cannot stand is when I buy something and then go and LOOSE it. I bought the decals for "White 3" and now can't for the life of me find them anywhere. I already know what's gonna happen too.....I'm gonna buy a set and then the day after I apply them ....I'm going to find the original set. Happens every single time. Anyways....progress.....
  13. I tip my hat to anyone that can take these old Monogram kits and turn 'em around to make them look this good. It takes alot of time, effort and grit to get them this way but the work is truly worth it. Looking great so far Mark.
  14. You're really putting alot of well spent time into this build Jouko. The end results are a true "tell-tale" of your efforts. Well done so far.
  15. Thanks Jerry! Thank you for your comments as well Tom. Do you have that kit that can be built as a stock or drag version with the blue Maverick in the foreground on the box cover? Snagged up my chassis donor kit a few days ago.....
  16. I really like how all of these additions and parts just "click" together. Everything looks as though it all belongs there and doesn't have that "added" look to it. This kind of time, patience and hard work are the kind of things that make a good model really stand out from the rest.
  17. Really appreciate the comments Tom!! For what it's worth I emailed Round 2 but have yet to get an answer on a release of either a new kit or a re-pop of the Jo-Han kit. I may never hear anything back but it was worth a try I guess. Thank you for your very kind comments Roy. Thanks Kurt. That shifter was dang near the end of my modeling career. lol 'Preciate you stoppin' in to take a look and for the comments Tom.
  18. I really REALLY like these cars and you've done a great job of replicating this one.
  19. Very nicely build truck Glen. Details are superb!!
  20. Very nice work on this. Love the subject and love the build.
  21. Not bad at all for a 24 hour build Tom. Cool subject too!!!
  22. Now THAT......is cool!! Very nicely done.
  23. I do like the direction you're headed with this.
