  1. Yesterday I attended another regular monthly meeting of the Buckeye Scale Auto Club in Columbus , Ohio. Great group of like minded model builders. If you live in that area and are looking for a club that has the same interests as you look them up on line. Don't waste another month wishing you could fins club to join. Another benefit is that the meeting are held inside a real hobby shop! Always a great time!
  2. Looking very interesting. I like the bare metal look ,but it seems to elude me for some reason. I'll be following along.
  3. While looking around the Green Stuff site I found a lot of interesting items they offer that might just be of interest to diorama builders. They offer punches to create wood an tile roofing shingles as well as molds for making bricks and flagstones. Check them out, pretty cool stuff.
  4. Cool stuff ! Will there be any available for sale ? What scale are these parts?
  5. Thanks for posting that link Jacob, I just placed my order.
  6. I agree that close observation of how thing weather and change color and texture are invaluable in diorama building. Where leaves end up as a result of wind can be useful a well. I am sometimes asked how my effects are done and I always respond that attempting to duplicate what I observe as closely as possible is my inspiration.
  7. Someone please share with me where I can either walk in and find this punch in 1/25 th scale or where I can order it and what the model or part number it would be. Thanks for your help.
  8. I have successfully used Micro Krystal kleer for several years. It goes on white but dries clear. I apply it with a brush. It is water clean-up.
  9. Imo the wrap around glass would be a nice addition but I would not want to mess too much with the three remaining panels that retain some of the original " product Identity" of the truck those being the front body panels, cab roof and tailgate. I'd rather retain that Red Wagon identity than have someone look at the finished model and wonder what I started with.
  10. Great to see a growing number of camp trailers like this one. Please post finished photos. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Outstanding concept. Very creative stuff. Thanks for sharing.
  12. I'm sure you will be pleased with their product.
  13. I have used. Micro- Mark their rivet decals and the look is spot on. Their stuff is geared towards the model train hobby so I bought their O scale sheets. They are raised resin rivets on water slide backing and come with excellent instructions.their website is www.micromark.com. The sheets are 8"x10" and have lots of rivet patterns including small circles and plus open lovers and some mesh screen. I bought them for the scratch built travel trailers I build and they look great under paint. Good luck with your project.
