  1. I had no idea what a Global 7500 was until seeing this post. What a beautiful aircraft it is and it has a list price of $ 60 million.
  2. Naturally I am only joking here but maybe some of us should consider a double wide casket so we can take at least part if our BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH with us. Imagine what an archaeologist will think of all if that in another 10,000 years!
  3. I forgot to mention that this is also a great link for modelers wanting to create unique engines for their speedsters. Those Frontenac valve covers are in the AMT '27 Ford kits.
  4. Outstanding link. Thanks from a lifelong Chevy man!
  5. Absolutely stunning!!
  6. There indeed is an RC shop in Myrtle Beach. I have driven by it dozens of times while there on vacation. A ten second internet search finds Ed' s hobby shop at 704 south main St In MB. Their phone is (843)448-8685. Just remember not to run your RC vehicle into the salt water surf. I have seen that done and it does not end well.
  7. What a shame that this genre of model motorcycles is not available in 1/25 scale. I would love to see some done in 3D print form. Anyone out there working on that ?
  8. Clearly the answers posted thus far are generational with most liking the cars they started driving with. My personal likes are all built in the same decade, the 1940's. That probably saw the least cars built due to world war two interruptions and most still had some Art deco influence in their styling with graceful styling cues in cars that the average citizen could afford. The big cars from the previous decades were indeed impressive and still beautiful to look at but way outside the realm of possibility for your average blue collar family.
  9. Great "hook"starting with the classic black and white shot of Ed Eskanderian(?) With his car.
  10. Just me....but.....no phone....no apps..not happening.
  11. Let's face it. We're all gonna die someday. So what will happen to our "stuff" when that happens? Garage sale? Trash bags ? Ebay? Does anyone here have a serious plan for that eventuality? The answers could interesting.
  12. I'd say a little rain would not keep that guy home.
  13. I recently read a newly written book about the brothers Wright that any who are interested in flight or Ohio history might enjoy titled " Wright brothers- wrong story". It's a fact based look at their unusual lives and family plus of course their struggle over protecting their invention and being sure their place in history as the first to fly. Great book.
  14. It was a beautiful day here in west central Ohio so a number of cool cars were out. I was three great restored examples, a mid 50's Packard, a '51 Ford convertible and a '34 Ford phaeton. Also a restored and repurposed early Shell gas station. Overall a pretty great day for an old gearhead like me!
  15. Any progress on having these available for sale yet?
  16. See...I told you he was still around!
  17. Great stuff. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Wow. Very realistic. Thanks for sharing.
  19. The first thing I think of when seeing that windscreen is "XR 6" by AMT.
  20. Love it! Great concept. Thanks for sharing.
  21. Thanks. Maybe they will be able to fill some of the void left by the closing of the Modelhaus.
  22. How is the accuracy and quality ?
