  1. With those tires that close to both the inner fender wells and fenders there is not going to be much room for posing those huge wheels.
  2. What a shame that their greed has caused this forum to loose these photos. We can only hope that some of them can be re-posted with another service at some point.
  3. Thanks, the very next album I looked at had a real answer I wanted which was what plastic kit you were using.I has not seen this anywhere but now I know what to look.(like I need another kit to stuff into a storage closet that is overflowing with great stuff I'll never live long enough to build!)
  4. I have and love the Dremel stylus drill. It has variable speeds,is cordless and fits my hand very well.It also uses all the various dremel accessories that I need for grinding and rough finish work.Righly recommended tool.
  5. a simple observation here...thanks for taking your frame progress photos on a dark colored background. That makes the glorious details a lot easier to see and drool over.(I have to wear a bib when looking at this build).
  6. You are most welcome.Your inclusion of the engine as part of the frame structure is interesting. If I tried that mine be be very crooked and akward.Nice work.
  7. This is very cool.Great use for a kit never intended to be built as anything other that a drag car. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Thanks for posting this incredible build as inspiration for everyone to drool over. You certainly have the skills my man. It's almost a shame to display it with the body on!The complex frame and body shapes alone are a study in concentration and determination at the highest level. This is truly a beast of a bike built, detailed and finished at expert levels!Well done brother builder, well done indeed.
  9. I had the pleasure of meeting Jack's grandson Francis P.Northrup 111 when I was in boy scouts in the 1950's.We bunked next to each other for a weekend at Wright Patterson Air Force Base here in Ohio.Nice kid and smart as heck.
  10. Thanks for posting the trailer.Facinating plot and very plausible.Any more "bots"hanging around your work shop?
  11. Great build with excellent proportions and stance.Overall it's excellent. Thanks for sharing!
  12. Thanks for posting your project.Your fabrication and finishing skills are excellent.
  13. As someone here said earlier"Time to kick the bucket"!!
  14. I am surprised that MCM tolerates this intrusion.
  15. Why are we seeing all of those agrivating photo bucket third party ads instead of the posted images?I have not found a way around them and it's very annoying!
  16. That is a simply an ingenious way to plan a chassis design! This is going to be another one of those builds filled with clever and unique solutions to design problems that will inspire countless modelers. This is one of my favorite works in progress.
  17. Great body and paint work on this build. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Nice project.I remember when these cars were new in the dealerships. That was when I was a sophomore in high school. After the '57 was so popular this completely new design was a real shocker. They really a love it or hate it thing.Personally I loved them.keep up the good work.
  19. Glad you decided to join.I'm sure you will find a ton of inspiration in the albums of this forum.
  20. I can't imagine living with that heat and humidity! The weather channel on TV reciently reported on some similar weather in the desert southwest region of the USA and said the human body cannot regulate it's temperature at that level. Glad you have decided to share your builds with us.There seems to be some serious scratch building on the turbo plumbing you posted.Glad you are on board.
  21. Welcome to the absolute best forums around.Any questions you have about modeling will surely be answered by those that you will contact here.
  22. Thanks for your comment Ellen.Maybe it's just my personal interest in historical accuracy or that I really enjoy doing the research but the research is nearly as much fun as the building for me.IMHO...if you're going to build it,do a little research and do it right!
  23. You will have to decide first what era your garage is going to represent then gather data on what accessories would be correct for that time frame. If you are using a '60's era muscle car for the main featured vehicle the interior could be almost any era from the year it was purchased till now.Good luck.
