I hope your vision problem can be solved and you can continue to build as long as you want.I agree about the ageing not always being an easy journey.I ''ll be 75 this year so I'm right there with you brother builder.Some times I have to think that when I drop something from my workbench wether it's easier to make a new part rather that getting down on the floor and trying to find the first one!

  5. This screams out for a custom ride for that bed.If you're looking to stay on that "something different" theme I suggest a motorized drifting trike with paint that matches your amazing truck.Thanks for sharing
  6. For whatever it's worth my personal favorite is the bike hauler.It would be fun working out a cool system for lifting the bike on and off the back of it and incorporating that into the design.

  8. Thanks for sharing this unique build with us.Most Gasser builds simply do not intrest me at all,the title of six fly caught my eye and I'm glad it did.If this was full size I would walk past all the others on display and spend my time looking this one over in detail.
  9. Actually considering is based on a model A Ford body it is an "A" bucket not a "T" bucket.

Congratulations on sticking with this extremely complex project.These projects can indeed be overwhelming and frustrating to the point we can be tempted to box them up and relegate them to storage.I personally have invested a year or more building customs and know how challenging that can be.Thanks for sharing your experience and solutions.

  18. I also took a long time(20 years) after the sudden death of our oldest child so I certainly can sympathize with your situation.I personally hope you find your return to the hobby a fulfilling experience.Welcome back to the hobby!
