  1. How..... how in the world do you make such small detailed items? My fingers would be cut to pieces!
  2. Wow that thing is clean! Looks like an American Isuzu rodeo front clip on it.
  3. I love the '72 Torino fastback....
  4. I put this one back in the box for the time being until I can find the right paint and until I'm not mad at it. So that may be a while. lol! Thinking when it comes out of the purple pond, I might just paint it black...
  5. I think I found my inspiration... http://bangshift.com/bangshiftxl/drag-week-2014-roadside-find-1957-chevy-1-ton-wearing-old-camper-perfection/
  6. Yes, they are! But the real truck isnt full of bells and whistles either. Only really going to add the ratchet shifter, and the famous cup holder/ratchet shifter mount. May try to find a custom steering wheel thats a little closer to what the real truck has but the one in it will work as well.
  7. Great job. Always loved these little oddball cars
  8. My idea for this truck is somewhat of a 60s-70s vibe with a patina'd paint job. Going with a flat red over grey and red oxide primers that will show thru. I found some parts box Cragars, and some bias ply tires for the front, and M&H racemasters on the back. I cut, swapped sides, and flipped the rear shackles in order to raise the rear axle just enough to fully clear the racemaster slicks. Thats about all I have for now... will be working on it more!
  9. So as if I dont have enough going in my small build space I just couldnt keep my hands off this truck. It's the '74 Chevy C10 as seen on the YouTube hit series "Roadkill" from Hot Rod Magazine! I was just randomly browsing Ebay when I came across this truck and instantly knew it had to be the Muscle Truck! So I let it sit on the shelf for a little while before it finally ate at me enough to tear it apart I already have a '55 Chevy truck I started working on... but I couldnt help myself! I also filled in the roof to get rid of the sunroof that this kit came with. I won a lot of bumpers on Ebay because it had C10 bumpers. They're the larger 1:24th scale bumpers but with a little bending and convincing, the front looks great, and I sectioned the rear bumper to get the right width. Sorry for the dark pictures. I couldnt get my phone to take great pics. I was sent some taillights for it by a generous member here, which is much appreciated! I'm on the hunt for an LSx engine, and I'll have to be ordering the correct resin automatic trans, and a Ford 9" axle probably from B-N-L resins. I will have to scratch build the frame because its not correct for what the Muscle Truck has under it, and also do some other small scratch and modified things to get it just right. So thats it for now!
  10. I'm in need of an LS engine for a project I have been cooking up. Just need an engine block/heads/oilpan/valvecovers. Everything is will be sourced. Im not a Chevy guy typically and dont pay attention to whats out there. I thought maybe a new Camaro? Whats the best choice, Revell or AMT?
  11. Just curious. I'm usually a little apprehensive when purchasing things out of country. I know the place has rave reviews from locals, but was wondering if it was a hassle for us folks here in the US, since they're on the opposite side of the globe. They've got quite a bit of awesome looking parts I'd like to get for some hot rods I have in mind.
  12. Revell/Monogram Tom Daniel's Street Fighter Chevy wagon is molded in orange! (At least the version I have) But it's actually 1/24th scale.
  13. Interesting! I've never seen one before... but I like it! Kind of a shame it used to be a whole Model A!
  14. that is beautiful!
  15. Thats good to know. I was hoping it was complete. Car is too nice not to be.
  16. So many ugly things here... so little gasoline and fire!!!
  17. I'm guilty of this. I bought a complete '40 Ford, a green chevy "muscle truck", and two Model A... or even Model B Ford convertibles. (havent opened the box yet to take a closer look) lol
  18. Almost posted this in the cars section since thats where I spend most of my time... but realized these were trucks! anyway, some cool old stuff here.. just a few of the pics I took. Model T truck Tall T tow truck! beautiful 100% factory original never repainted High Boy F series truck And this thing! whatever it is... or was!
  19. I've really enjoying the work done here!
  20. Sweet ride! Where is the hood and the front floorboards.
  21. Looks great! But the underside of the body is way too clean!
  22. Can't forget this now-internet-famous Jaguar!
  23. I think thats what happened to be honest. The Tamiya primer does dry very quickly, but the rustoleum paint goes on THICK and stays tacky for many, many hours. At least it did for me... I need to find some duplicolor and do it the right way.
  24. I love it! I kinda want one!
  25. But I gotta say I'm pretty impressed with myself lately. I made the door panels for my General Mayhem Charger which most of you have seen already. But I needed to make a spoiler for a car to make it look like a factory car, and its actually turning out really well! Made a "3 piece" spoiler for this mustang I'm working on. Besides lacking a tiny bit of detail, especially for eyeballing some google images, I'm pretty happy with it. Also, made some doors for a roadster body I got in on trade... again... pretty happy about that. Cant believe both went off without any major hiccups. I did cut the doors too short and had to simulate some "rot" but I think it adds character! They were soo simple to make, bend the evergreen a little here, and a little there, a couple cuts and contours... but Im really impressed with myself. I apologize if this is not in the correct subforum but I couldnt really figure out where to post it!
