  1. I'd say work on the fender opening a little judging by that 2nd to last picture and I'd call it good to go! Like what youve done too! Not bad at all for not painting it!
  2. I have this same kit! I dont recall those decals coming w/ the kit... but I'm definitely going to use them. I love the look!
  3. Gorgeous!!!!!!!!! Love the huge aluminum slots on it!! Friend of mine on facebook has one that same color combo but with 5 lug conversion and Magnum 500's on it
  4. Wow that thing is sinister! I love!
  5. Reminds me of a Thunderbird. I think the grille/bumper needs lowered a little bit though. Just doesnt look right to me with the side of the car being low and the nose being high. Other than that it looks great
  6. I love my Mustang II (old pic) needs some restoration as soon as my '88 is finished.
  7. Very nice!
  8. zero interest? I'm over here patiently awaiting the two tone paint
  9. There were a few on ebay... I thought about it... but didnt want to go down that road. I dont do die cast... didnt wanna start that addiction.
  10. If the entire interior was black... it would be wicked. Not digging the banana guts.
  11. I've been thinking about entering another kit and going for the "inconspicuous" look...
  12. Well I finally was able to reach the member who was sending my parts. Hopefully will have them soon. If that's the case, the General Mayhem will still be in the running.
  13. This thing is crazy! Love it so far! Looks like its about the same theme as the monster Dodge Deora that was built a little while ago by another member. That Hemi..... two blowers and two turbos... man... thats some boost. Must be like 4.5:1 compression N/A and run on lighter fluid without all that forced induction I dig it!
  14. I do however love movie/TV inspired builds! Would love to do a Rockford Files Firebird!
  15. Driver San Francisco and Grand Theft Auto come to mind for some inspirational cars. If I could just find some original styled 73 Mustang wheels.... I'd make me an Eleanor!
  16. 2 . Street cruiser/canyon carver: Lowered and raked a bit, smoothed & dechromed, biggest wheels and tires I can fit to the widest edge of the stock fender openings—maybe even some of those goofy little “pro touring” wheels and tires. No strong vibe on color of this one yet, possibly the same Testor flake blue as idea #1. Something sorta kina like this: Vote now! Or give me another idea. I love a (minor) challenge and hate to see good styrene go to waste. This one!!!! holy BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH this one!!!
  17. I bought a bunch of model a rebuilders off ebay. More than I need lol
  18. Carlos, what wheels came with that 71 mach 1 kit? I'm looking for the dog dish and trim ring style if you have any
  19. Looks great! I'd like to turn one of these into a bronco!
  20. totally red. Unless you put white stars on the doors and military lettering on it... then it would be pretty cool.
  21. I sprayed a matte clear on the outside of my windows on my '55 chevy gasser to simulate dust... and it kinda looks foggy if looked at from the inside.. same effect may work the other way around? Since moisture on windows sometimes has a different pattern/effect on real glass... try spraying the windows and touching them with reynolds plastic wrap for a second. plastic wrap also works great for making marblized high metallic paint jobs.
  22. A friend of mine was exploring some woods with some friends one time and just happened to look up and saw a mitsubishi suv in a tree. In the middle of the woods. With no real way to drive one into the woods.
  23. I'll go with that lol
  24. Two tone it. Red on bottom and a white on top. Follow the body line that starts on the bottom sides of the grille shell and go up and back.then coat the whole thing with a pearl clear.
  25. Gorgeous, just gorgeous!
