Thanks for sharing. I really enjoy your vintage themed builds. I think between you and Ace-Garageguy, and a few others, youve made me impulse buy many old gluebombs on ebay in hopes to turn them into beauties like these.

I'll block glaze all day long over duraglass! Lol!! I was soo happy when my current project got to the finishing stages of body work. Replacing the rockers and cab corners on a 98 F150. My first really big job that isn't for myself. Thank goodness for finishing glaze and long durablocks.

I'll probably be picking up my kits Friday off Evilbay. There will be kit bashing! For the first car, the end result will be the underestimated and often hated "right car at the right time" with a fuel sipping drivetrain that packs a punch! For my second car, it will be a run of the mill 4 door from the 70's. Probably painted brown. Definitely brown.

That is what is called a finishing glaze. Super easy to sand and get final bodywork blocked out perfectly. Many companies make a finish glaze. That particular brand is bondo brand.

this was the first kit that came to my mind as well. I believe it's Talladega counterpart had the same wheels in the kit too.

Most recently... Carlos Montoya: Suite Flamenca with full symphony orchestra. Don't ask why, because I don't know... but I like that stuff for some reason. Loves me some spanish guitar.

I just might. I intended it to be sort of a kickstart to get others also excited about finishing things that are unfinished. Plus maybe there's something someone is working on that we havent seen in a while... might kick up some interest in the project again.

Well true, but I was thinking of the unfinished builds that were started *just* from this year. But youre right... probably too much to handle. Already a lot of threads going on about completed/incomplete projects anyway.

Yes, well I see what you're saying but what I'm getting at is folks post a thread w/ all their completed builds of the year in summary... I think it would be neat to see what didnt get done and what state it was last in. I forgot about the "what will you build in the winter" thread as things get buried soo quickly here.

So, I've noticed that a lot of folks here post their yearly completed builds... What about the unfinished? I think a thread with members' unfinished builds from the year would be pretty neat don't you think? Honorable mentions if you will. But, would that go under "on the bench" or ??
