  1. I really dig it! I have this same truck I bought assembled (poorly) off ebay... I am also narrowing the rear frame on mine. I'm making a replica of the Muscle Truck, from Roadkill... started a thread in the trucks section a while back but stopped building for a while. Really makes me wanna finish it!
  2. WOW. You've made this ancient kit in to something FANTASTIC!!!!
  3. Welcome. Love how cleanly done the Impala is... and the Neon is hysterically awesome too. I too had the same trouble... turned 17, and somehow forgot how to build model cars... ended up with 2 mustangs and a plymouth scamp in 1:1. Went all the way up to 4 mustangs, a Lincoln, and my pickup truck before I downsized a little. Now trying to get back into the hobby again.
  4. Thank you John. Found em on SE LTD's site. I appreciate the tip
  5. Carb could be changed I'm sure... http://bnlresins.ipage.com/shoppingopencart/model-resin-engines/model-Oldsmobile-Resin-Motors/model-Oldsmobile-455-BB
  6. Beautiful work!
  7. Hope he's not gone. I planned to order quite a few parts from him that only he casted...
  8. Ha, that would be neat to sit next to the Dune Rat!
  9. Lots of patina and rust in the first half of the lot. Cool stuff in here. Ferrari's and Delahaye's and all sorts of neat old stuff. http://www.artcurial.com/en/asp/searchresults.asp?pg=1&ps=18&st=D&sale_no=2651
  10. The Firebird is by far my favorite. Plus the backstory on it helps too.
  11. Thats beautifully nasty and I love it!
  12. Ooooo Big Donkey resin has a 5 window 30 Model A.... neat!
  13. I noticed you have to type the name as one word. HoppersBazaar. I ran across some the parts on ebay and noticed the name was one word. Looks like good stuff. Wish they had some Rally II wheels for a Firebird so I wouldnt have to mess with "Reliable" Resins.
  14. Decided to go ahead and post my backup assistance. A fully outfitted retired '70 Galaxie undercover police car. Chock full of boss 429 under the hood!
  15. I really like it! I love 30-31 Model A's. And that one is cool!
  16. OK, lets make it official. My first of two entries will be this kit. 1977 Mustang II hatchback. Was sealed until I got it. My plan is to find a 2.3 Turbo out of an SVO kit, and make this a 2.3 Turbo Mustang II. A creature that never existed. I will also try to find a T5 5 speed transmission for it or maybe a T56 6 speed. A 2.3 Turbo with the BOV routed back into the exhaust instead of atmospheric, followed by a muffler, stock wheels and whitewall tires, no V8 emblems on the fenders or flashy graphics, bland mid-70s color would make this thing a sweet street sleeper! Second kit coming as soon as I atleast finish the first one!
  17. I got my kit in the mail yesterday. I'll try to post pics of it tonight to make it official.
  18. Anyone have an idea which kit has the best looking 2.3 Turbo/5 speed or automatic setup? I was thinking maybe the monogram Turbo Coupe, or perhaps the Monogram SVO? But they're 1/24... I'm looking for 1/25... maybe the MPC early 80s mustangs? Doesnt really necessarily need to be turbo but would help.
  19. Beautiful builds!! Especially the foxbodies!
  20. Welcome! Love the fox in your avatar! I'm partial to stangs myself. I've got a 94 GT, 88 LX (being turned into a V8 GT car) and also a '77 Mustang II.
  21. Hahahaha nice
  22. Beautiful. 30-31 are my favorite years. Nicely done
  23. The one kit that I had to order is being shipped as of today. Soon as it comes in I'll post a picture of it.
