  1. I found the Jimmy Inline 6 from a resin caster recently
  2. The truck I'm using is the older Monogram/Revell Hot Rod truck... which strangely enough is a different scale than the current Revell GMC and pretty much 100% different than the new truck... I'd much rather have the newer frame! But I'll be repairing the links on my threads soon
  3. Well I spent about an hour and a half yesterday cleaning things up. I'm going to try to go back thru my posts and edit them to put the pictures back as time allows. I agree with what you said Tom, it is disappointing how that works w/ older content.
  4. I'm liking this!!!!! The world needs more 5.0 LX hatchback kits!
  5. Yep. I broke my photobucket yesterday... It's on the list of things to do... I actually had a plan of something similar in mind. VERY similar. You practically read my mind on the hacking of the frame rails at the cab. I'll be updating this stuff soon hopefully.
  6. I spent the last 20 minutes going thru all my threads seeing which ones will need rebuilt... I think I may tackle it. I would open a Fotki but they block it here at work.... but not photobucket. Strange.
  7. So I think the time has come to overhaul my photobucket account... the amount of photos in random and wrong albums/places has finally gotten to me. But if I do this, I'll break ALL my links... I'm on the fence about it. I'd really like to have albums for EACH model I build as it seems like a very organized thing to do. What would you do? Let it be and let it keep driving you crazy, or fix it, then redo all the threads? Anyone else ran into this dilemma before and maybe found an easier way to do this?
  8. I'd say I'm a mix of the last 4. Like when it comes to the Roadkill cars I have planned to build eventually. People have already done them, but I still plan to build them. However no matter how hard one tries they'll still be different and that's what is important. I would like to make mine as accurate as possible but at the same time I dont drive myself crazy to achieve that. I build to my own level of satisfaction.
  9. Soon! I have to scratch build the frame from the cab back to match the show, and work w/ that useless C notch they did to the frame... ya know... I'm striving for accuracy, I'm just lazy. lol
  10. I'd have to say, bright red with a black vinyl top!
  11. Thanks guys. I'm waiting to get it back from the resin caster. That very intake will be for sale soon from a well known resin caster. I've been trying to find the urge to get back in to building again... I need to finish a lot of my stuff!
  12. Another thumbs up for Vince, (Vintagedragcrazy) Hooked me up with a set of Mustang II wheels that I was looking for. Hopefully I'll be able to return the favor later this week. Thanks buddy
  13. Welcome! Sounds like you have two great cars!
  14. What is a Day Two car?
  15. Gonna guess new revell 67 Camaro?
  16. Man... with Buford T. Justice entering the race I might have to come up w/ some trick ways to "haul" thru Ohio. hehe
  17. I'd like to turn my '49 or '50 Chevy truck into a GMC... does something like this exist in the aftermarket resin world? thanks Jesse
  18. Do you make the classic 80's Foxbody Mustang Recaro's? I'm sure your version would look better than any kit Recaro's!
  19. When I worked at Pep Boys in Eastgate here in Cincinnati and ran in to a guy who had a polished DeLorean.
  20. I really dig it! I have this same truck I bought assembled (poorly) off ebay... I am also narrowing the rear frame on mine. I'm making a replica of the Muscle Truck, from Roadkill... started a thread in the trucks section a while back but stopped building for a while. Really makes me wanna finish it!
  21. WOW. You've made this ancient kit in to something FANTASTIC!!!!
  22. Welcome. Love how cleanly done the Impala is... and the Neon is hysterically awesome too. I too had the same trouble... turned 17, and somehow forgot how to build model cars... ended up with 2 mustangs and a plymouth scamp in 1:1. Went all the way up to 4 mustangs, a Lincoln, and my pickup truck before I downsized a little. Now trying to get back into the hobby again.
