1/16 army funny car and dragster combo

the part that really stinks is my dad is losing his battle for life and these two cars always were his pride and joy today they're pretty nasty looking and I'd love to rebuild them to pay homage to him before he dies so he could once again enjoy them Rather its a day or month or for the next 2 years but just can't seem to get my hands on them -
Great start, it's gonna be a good one!

I had that issue on the old kit and I left them in really hot water and the came back to shape in about an hour.

YUP that's the one, same as mine just in blue. I like the blue better but there about a hundred more on ebay. It's odd the blue one seems to have a lot of the detail I had to add to my silver one. As far as I know there the exact same car. Maybe there pictures just look better haha. -

Its a 1/12 scale. It started life as a kyosho and from there just adding detail to a pretty detailed car already making a few stance mods and adding some misc other details to engine, interior and wheels. -

Shelby Movie? Let the nightmare begin!

My 2 cents if anyone is till following this is this, putting cruise and shelby in the same sentence is like hearing Obama and good president but after I thought about it, it actually makes since. Tom has alot of driving experience from stock car to open wheel ...heck I just seen a deal on him not to long ago were he was driving an F1 car and cutting some pretty quick laps. So who knows, might not be to bad. Oh and for the record Barry pepper made a horrid Earnhardt. Take Kevin Costner From wyatt Earp -

Im nuts, most kits I have built, I have another still in plastic to save and hold onto.
-
yeah as far as i Know you can do it 100 percent stock. god love Chip Foose, but cant make it as great as the factory. Atleast in my humble opinion. I hate this, I have the new kit here but cannot bring myself to open it until I have another to put in the vault lol. I hope hobby lobby starts to carry them and buy a few with a 40% off coupon.
