  1. It's been a rough year, first I lost my dad and now her. This was Dippy. I've had her since college. She spent her first few months living in my bathroom after my step-mom got her. She used to curl up in my pants while I was in there. She ended up finding out my room was off limits and spent most of her time with me so she wouldn't be bothered. Ever since she has been my constant companion. When I moved out she came with me and rarely left my side. Last year she got diagnosed with feline diabetes. Saturday she slipped into a coma and I had to put her down this morning. I'm barely keeping it together. She was the best pet I ever had. I'm really gonna miss her.
  2. Now I might just have to get another one.
  3. Beautiful. Looks a lot better than mine.
  4. That the metal kit? I had someone buy me a red one years ago as a Christmas present. Yours came out good. Any problems with the hood? The one on mine had poor fit.
  5. I got this a few months ago and finally got around to building it. I was pretty excited to see it when it was announced. I never thought I'd see a kit of a Canadian vehicle, let alone a Canadian Mercury truck! The kit itself isn't too bad. My only problem being the installation of the clear pieces. Which they tell you to do from the inside. The windshield needs to be placed in from the front. The fit to the frame is also a little hard to get right. Installation of the lettering for the decals kinda sucks too. Each letter is its own decal. Not fun to put on and I lost the M for the hood. Which is quite small. Over all though, it is a very nice kit and a welcome addition to my collection. 6. Beautiful. Good color choice.
  7. Beautiful. Been trying to get my hands on one for awhile.
  8. For a simple kit, it's not a bad kit. Every one I've seen has come out nice. You should have the other cars built in no time.
  9. Very nice
  10. Looks great. Came out a lot better than mine did.
  11. Beautiful. Great color choice. I wanted to do one of my cars in that color, but HL doesn't carry the paint anymore.
  12. Saw one of these at a car show a few weeks ago. they're a lot nicer than one would expect.
  13. Nice
  14. Beautiful. Nothing like a green Challenger!
  15. No, not yet, and I really want a couple of them I've seen.
  16. I picked this kit up years ago as I like bi-planes and the prewar neutrality paint scheme for aircraft. It wasn't a bad little kit. Went together quite nicely and came out great. I probably could have done better, but it was a quick build just for my own collection. It's not 100% accurate, but I wanted to add a splash more color, so i painted the wheels. 17. I've had this in the stash for awhile and finally decided to build it. The kit was way better than expected. It has some issues, but went together fairly well. The exception being the chassis to body fit. SAM_1689 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_1690 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr
  18. Not too bad, but shipping?
  19. I like it, the kit looks really good. Probably be expensive though.
  20. Looks really good. I passed one on the road earlier today
  21. Looks beautiful. When I was seeing a girl in Charlotte; I wanted to and see a friend while up there. He had a little pizza shop in his town and I wanted to stop there since it was good the last time I was up there. It had a new owner and the owner was using his yellow 288 GTO as a delivery car!
  22. That looks beautiful. I had a friend give me one of the older kits as a Christmas present a few years ago, but it didn't have the emblem decals. Been trying to find a set ever since then so I could build it.
