  1. That's crazy. Nice work
  2. Beautiful. I wish they'd make newer kits of some of the 50's Dodges, Plymouths, Mercs, Pontiacs, and Olds.
  3. Already built one from this kit and posted it about 2-3months ago. Still suffers from the same issues as the old kits. The hood and bumper fit is horrible. It does, however, carry new and improved decals. SAM_1550 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr
  4. Nice! Last night I was thinking about getting another kit so I could do something similar.
  5. I like that green one. You wouldn't think it, but it works.
  6. Those Chevelles and that Mustang ?
  7. That looks amazing. I wish i could find one. I like these cars as convertibles, but never cared much for the hard tops.
  8. What?! I may finally be able to build a model of my old car that doesn't look garbage! ?
  9. For a long time I've wanted a Jeep in my collection, but could never really find an old kit at a good price. I was excited to find out they were releasing this new kit and sought one out. The kit itself, however, shows that they went with the older moldings. It's not very great and there's a lot of asking, "why did they do this" in the build. For starters, the dash attaches to the wind shield, which is separate from the body. There's a bunch of fit issues, most notably, the wind shield and hood. The wind shield does not fit all the way down into the slot, so there's a small crack. The hood isn't wide enough to fit. I had to slide it forward so it hangs out over the grill. If not there would be a huge gap with the body. There was also a fit issue with the doors and top, so I left them off. It made me sad since I put a lot of work into the paint job on both. 10. Looks nice. I used to have one a long time ago. My step-mom broke it I may still have it in a box somewhere. A lot of my early attempts at air craft builds were broken by her.
  11. There was one for sell at a local lot about a year ago.
  12. Nice find, looks great
  13. Came out great though.
  14. Looks great. All the ones I've seen haven't been this detailed. The last one I got was about as close in detail as this one, just no opening doors, engine, or spoiler.
