Nice. I wanted to pick one up, but never got around to it. Looks like a good kit.

Very nice. Reminds me of the first car model I ever tried to do as an adult. It was a red T/A too.

Looks great. Matches the one I did awhile back. It's a great kit. Mine is one of the prides of my collection.

1971 Dodge Demon ( or worse than one Demon)

Looks beautiful. When I did mine I considered doing it in Hemi Orange before settling on Sublime. I'm thinking of getting another Challenger kit to do a 71 conversion in Hemi Orange. After seeing your car in that color I think it'll be a good choice. -
Looks great. I found mine in the same color the other day. Even though it's a simple kit it, makes for a nice build.

If that's the AMT kit then I salute you. I got that kit years ago and it was garbage. Incredible work!
-
Pretty much. It is the Dodge counterpart to the Duster and the Dart did share a grill with it.
-
Looks good. It was one of their better kits. I did mine in the same colors.

It's supposed to be. Builds nicely, except for the hood. Getting the chassis to snapped together took a little effort, but not too much.
-
That was something I forgot to mention. It does have the decals for the 72 hood paint scheme, but much like the decals for the Revell Boss 302, it's just the sides and you have to fill in some blank space with paint. It doesn't have the blower scoop or grill for the 72 though.

Now, for a special treat, the new 71 Demon kit. This has been a grail kit for a long time. I've really wanted one in the collection for years, as I liked them a bit more than the Duster. However, the vintage kits are at outrageous prices. I was excited when they announced the new kit. This kit is great! I liken it to the old 71 Duster kit. The only flaw I found was a hood fit issue, so I had to glue it shut. It would stick up on the front right or in the left back. The rear spoiler I think is also too thick. I did also find a head scratcher with the chassis. You have to poke out the holes for the exhaust, a feature you need stock or custom, but there are holes already in the suspension for the custom drag bars. Kinda weird. You also have to cut out the holes for the scoops, which is weird since you're adding strips and wouldn't be able to see them once the decals are on. Not to mention having to cut holes in the decals for the scoops. I just cut off the prongs and glued them straight on. Over all, the kit is an excellent kit, and makes a great looking model car!
