this glue is hard to find now, and gets expensive. the model master glue is my very favorite. the testors version is not the same container, and not as good. the new revell glue also is not as good. i thought it would be the same, but it isnt. it doesnt stick as well. i prefer this one over the tamiya glue because it will not remove paint if as long as you dont rub it. it will stick to painted pieces quite well, but will stick to plastic to plastic better. i also found that i make more mistakes with tamiya glue. its very thin so sometimes it goes through a gap that i dont notice and ruin pieces.

How well does the amt 41 plymouth go together

i did mean plymouth. thank you. i fixed the title. -
Those were used like air conditioners. they would bring in air from the outside and somehow cool it down a little. im not sure how well it worked Edit: according to wiki it worked best with low humid weather and used water evaporation to cool the air https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Car_cooler

Looks really good. I really like ehat you did with it I have this next on my list. Does this car go together well?

without giving away anything, the last 10 or 15 minutes ruined the entire movie. it made the entire beginning of the movie pointless. Also they went from well versed in military to idiots.

i put the model in the plastic box and put the lid on it and put it outside. i will check on it tomorrow night and see how it looks. it smells like windex almost. the model is still available, so at the very worst case, i can buy another and have a box of parts

The dollar store had 2 kinds of la brand. One was a cleaner with bleach and the other said cleaner degreaser. I Got the degreaser one. Is it the right choice?

in nj you might be surprised how many times we get a call for snow of 6-18+ inches. basically every time there is even a hint of snow. however, i think of all the times they called for it, there was only 1 or 2 times in the past 4 years or so that we got more than a few inches of snow in 1 storm. my sister-in-law and i had a bet once because they were guaranteed to have a huge storm, i think it was like 12+ inches minimum. i told her that if it snowed more than 4 inches, i would buy her dinner. after the storm, i took a picture of a ruler in the snow and it was maybe 3 inches. could you imagine that you had a job that you were wrong 99% of the time and its widely accepted. i even recall the weather person saying "it will rain somewhere in nj tomorrow, sometime during the day" well, that is very helpful. thanks -
i dont want to say its impossible to screw up a tamiya spray job because i did it twice yesterday alone. however, its quite difficult to run it or get uneven paint jobs with it. it dries in a very short time and i routinely go from bare plastic to gloss coat in a day or less. however, i am pretty tired of the tamiya colors available. they dont have a lot of the colors im looking for. i prefer to use a spray paint because i enjoy it the most. is there a brand that is as good as tamiya as far as how easy it is to use and get great paint jobs. i have tried some of the spray paints that you can get from walmart, and although they have a good selection of colors, its quite easy to run it if you are not careful, and it doesnt seem to lay as flat as tamiya. i know many people will say airbrush, and i have one. however, i really prefer to use spray cans

thanks guys. i will pickup some of the LA's Totally Awesome first since its cheap and seems to be sold at the dollar store by my house. i will also see if i can find a pencil case or something to put it in with a lid while im there. if not, my wife has some fancy looking cylinder container i can use. i think it would fit my model. i tried to paint my model silver, and then put tamiya clear blue over top of it. the color is amazing. however, it didnt seem to cover the pieces that are raised. in my case there is a straight line that is raised on my hood. i tried several thin coats, like 4 of them, and it was still just silver. finally i tried a heavier coat, and that cause it to pool up in places. im not sure how to get around this issue, but either way its just better to strip it and start over. even if it means with a different color. the clear blue is just so thin

i just bought an old amt scout 2 kit from ebay a couple of weeks ago. i got it for less than a new kit, so i dont feel bad. i dont understand why they would mold something in yellow though. i hope they also release a version molded in white.

Delete me. It even itself out on the final thicker coat Maybe I sprayed too thin of coat

what is the cleanest, least smelly way to strip a body? i would prefer one that i can toss it in a bucket or something and let it do its thing. also, one that doesnt make the plastic brittle. the kit is a bit older and feels a little brittle already. in the past i used brake fluid, but that would make the plastic very brittle if kept in for too long does this exist? thanks in advanced.

our neighbor in the apartment next to ours got spoken to by the landlord for having the american flag hanging from a small flagpole on our shared entrance. They were also told they have to remove any hanging plants from the entrance as well. There seems to be a new rule that no flags or anything hanging from tge entrances. Not Sure what happened, last time something like this happened someone knocked over their lit bbq and caused a fire,so no more bbqs were allowed. I say this because he was knocking on doors instead of leaving letters in mailbox like normal

many years ago i was visiting boston from nj. somewhere in conneticut we were sitting in traffic for about 2 hours slowly crawling along. when we finally get to the accident, it was on the other side of the highway. it was just people being nosey that stopped us. granted it was a horrible accident, but not that it should stop traffic on the other side

i ordered grocery delivery. i picked 2 heads of lettuce. instead of giving me 2 heads they gave me a 2 boxes of precut up lettuce that is probably equivalent to 1/2 of one head...at 8 dollars...and the lettuce was already wilting i guess i need to go to the grocery store again...
