  1. Looks like my old BMW with a sewing machine motor in it.
  2. On the news they showed a new car by Citroen. It is electric and made from recycled cardboard. Is just me or is making a electric car from cardboard a bit sketchy when all the car fires from the batteries ? Sounds like the whole car is a crush zone.
  3. Thanks for the feedback. Normally when I order parts they contact me about order and shipping status. They did take my money from paypal.
  4. How is Atlantis Models to buy from ? I ordered some parts on the 1st and received a conformation put nothing about shipping date. I sent them an email a couple days ago and as of yet have not heard from them. Is this normal for them ?
  5. I would interested and more than likely others
  6. Just received my Shapeway order I ordered two frames today
  7. Hopefully I have better luck with these , First Shapways purchase not so much
  8. https://www.shapeways.com/marketplace?type=product&q=1%2F24+ford+Frames
  9. Shapwa Shapeways does carry some with or without boxed frame for under $16
  10. Too bad Norm stopped putting these out. I would be buying a few along with a few other stuff
  11. I am glad you brought this up I have never considered the center crossmember until now. Something for my future builds Thanks
  12. Sounds like a good plan, I was thinking about looking at some styrene channel to use
  13. Yeah , you mentioned the rear suspension so I posted this as for the center crossmember other than sacrificing another kit maybe scratch building will be the only way to go
  14. I like to do old school Hot Rods and not a real fan of the rear suspension in the Revell Deuce kits. Tried doing some chop and glue mods from scratch. I found these at Shapways and have a couple coming in the mail. This might just be the answer for me.
  15. I like to have the Grille shell positioned so if you had a hood it wood be level from front to back
  16. Replicas and Miniatures has a 2" chopped 32 Grille Shell with photoetched Grille ,it may also come with the radiator
  17. As the OP of this post , it has had remarks a bit of topic for the original question, But I don't mind , I like the adversity of the comments. In addition to my opening post I would like to add that I think the use of the Mustang moniker was slam on the history of the Mustang and should have had a more suitable name such as maybe "Ampster" , it still has a animal vibe or a more stylish body design such as the regular edition of the 2023 Mustang. It is akin to calling the Chevy Bolt a Corvette As far as cleaning up the thread I think it should have been my call to do it if I found it necessary.
  18. If it was Pinto the battery would need to be in the back
  19. Thinking about building a stock 67 Merc Comet Capri , is there any stock hoods available ?
  20. If a kit came out out for the Mustang Mach E will there be much of a market for it? In my opinion it looks just like almost every other car out there in that class, Makes about as much sense as a 4DR Charger.
  21. All depends on what kind of build you are , Resto-Mod go something newer as suggested above
  22. AMT 56 top , Revell 57 bottom . wheelbase looks very close to the same. Revell 57 Gasser wagon basically the same
  23. I originally planned on doing this as suggested by another member. I have not started that build yet. I haven't located the frame yet to show it here but from what I remember it was fairly close to the 56. If I can located I will post a pic.
