Yeah , you mentioned the rear suspension so I posted this as for the center crossmember other than sacrificing another kit maybe scratch building will be the only way to go -

I like to do old school Hot Rods and not a real fan of the rear suspension in the Revell Deuce kits. Tried doing some chop and glue mods from scratch. I found these at Shapways and have a couple coming in the mail. This might just be the answer for me. -

New Mustang Mach E
Jon Haigwood replied to Jon Haigwood's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
As the OP of this post , it has had remarks a bit of topic for the original question, But I don't mind , I like the adversity of the comments. In addition to my opening post I would like to add that I think the use of the Mustang moniker was slam on the history of the Mustang and should have had a more suitable name such as maybe "Ampster" , it still has a animal vibe or a more stylish body design such as the regular edition of the 2023 Mustang. It is akin to calling the Chevy Bolt a Corvette As far as cleaning up the thread I think it should have been my call to do it if I found it necessary. -
New Mustang Mach E

If it was Pinto the battery would need to be in the back -
Thinking about building a stock 67 Merc Comet Capri , is there any stock hoods available ?

If a kit came out out for the Mustang Mach E will there be much of a market for it? In my opinion it looks just like almost every other car out there in that class, Makes about as much sense as a 4DR Charger.

AMT '56 Ford Fairlane chassis swap?

I originally planned on doing this as suggested by another member. I have not started that build yet. I haven't located the frame yet to show it here but from what I remember it was fairly close to the 56. If I can located I will post a pic. -

Fomoco 1949 fastbacks
Jon Haigwood replied to Paul Payne's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Lets not forget the 64/66 Barracudas (a Valiant with a sports roof). If you split the window down the center it would look similar to the Corvette 63 Split window. which may just be were they got their design ques from. In 67 they changed up the roof style along with everything else. They tried it on the first Chargers with mixed results. And AMC tried it on the Marlin , that is all I will say about the Marlin. -

When I see the last two the name Kaiser comes to mind. With that in mind why is the Henry J seem to be the only Kaiser in kit form ? Would like to see a Darrin . -
