  1. I haven't seen a Foxbody Mustang around here that's been fast so it'd be a sleeper in my books
  2. I've seen this one before One of my aspirations is to do the Lemons race.
  3. Say you see a series of builds... uhhh, let's say green Honda V8 Civics. You lose them. They get buried way down and you can't find them. So you go and search for the tags they used. "Honda," "V8," "Civic." That should help you find them, and that (I believe) is what the tags are for.
  4. AMT Fruit Wagon has em, but I had a cr-p kit with so much flash I could barely use those parts.
  5. Air soft pellets are far too big. BB gun shot? Close, but no. Get yourself some honest-to-goodness ball bearings. Auto stores and the like, I suppose? Ask for a few sizes, see what's right.
  6. How did I miss the point, exactly? The topics are still there. These "look what I did last year" topics will die out. If the other topics that you like are being updated, they'll be pushed to the top. Everything will be good again. Yes? Yes?
  7. I'm tired of people who complain about non-problems The topics you're looking for are still there. Just a few mousewheel scrolls or button clicks further down.
  8. Scratch this request. Here's a page for those interested, also: http://colorcharts.oldinternationaltrucks.ca/index.php?cID=190
  9. I'm in need of a color chart for a Scout II, whatever year the AMT/Ertl kit is supposed to represent. I'm working with the 2004? reissue, a builtup I made a long time ago. Thanks!
  10. Kinda sad... Poor VW. I do admire the execution, though. Not shoddily done.
  11. I'm pulling the Chevy truck. I don't feel it's right to be in here. It has a lot of mods I don't feel like doing right now, anyways. Michaelangelo is still in, though. I put the second coat of putty on the interior bucket and dropped the body in the pond. Next is finding the right wheels, locating the front clip (that'll be a real party,) and making the whole frame.
  12. The truck and a Mini look top!
  13. Close enough for me! The Ballad of Davy Crockett. Many versions out there, the one I know is by Tennessee Ernie Ford, but his wasn't the first.
  14. Well I know my cars will be a little loud. "Sleeper," in my books, means, "Looks and sounds stock when parked." When it's moving, you shouldn't be able to see that it's stock cuz it's going so fast
  15. I think you should stay with that rear wheel opening but just shove it forward a little bit.
  16. Craigslist ad: needs some body work Looks realistic. Amazing.
  17. Quite old. 1950s.
  18. Remember me? I'll try to finish my boat up soon. Here it is now. This clay is completely hardened up now. I'll start removing material from inside and sanding the outside.
  19. No Doubt's version of The Specials' "Ghost Town" \m/ http://grooveshark.com/s/Ghost+Town/44droJ
  20. Here, guys http://www.hobbylinc.com/model-car-garage-seat-belt-hardware-photo-etch-plastic-model-vehicle-accessory-kit-1:24-1:25-scale-2089
  21. Noooo... What you said is, and I quote: "If this is how you truly see it, you don't deserve to enjoy a Hobby!" Not to be rude, but it's "charade." I do see your other point, though, on how time is harsh. But the "you don't deserve" comment was completely unwarranted.
  22. Kilt him a bear when he was only three
  23. I always used to get the Pinewood decals for the sponsor decals. Usually they had Koni or Champion decals, sometimes Goodyear ones, along with flames, stripes, flags, etc. Woodland Scenics ones are good for trains. You can find all manner of dry-transfers from them, but remember to clearcoat them because they're extremely fragile.
  24. I use ArtStudio on my iPad and email the results to a PC to print.
  25. Too bad they didn't sell it here. "Don't sell turkey legs here, they look like chicken legs and it'll confuse people."
