  1. I hope to complete this Willys, it's about 10% as of today. Already finished the Scout except for headlights, and I'll take some final "this is my entry" pictures tonight.
  2. Ooh, diesel engine! I can see buying one of these at some point to make a race car... then a beater one in roller brown.
  3. I'll be borrowing parts from all over the place here. Most will come from the MPC WWII Jeep. First nights' progress. Lots of sanding, cutting, test fitting. Extended the bed, chopped off the grille bar, and lopped off the door hinges. Real tailgate! This'll end up being hinged.
  4. Starting another, this time a pickup to start with.
  5. Going from level 88 on GTA Online for the Xbox to level 12 on the PS3 is hard...
  6. The top doesn't look good, but the rest is stellar.
  7. Yep, the Revell '31 Ford Sedan.
  8. I'll be in with another build if I can find a Chevy shorty van frame.
  9. According to the tracking number, package from Bismarck (Kevin Little) arrived today. Shipped out second day, wouldn't refuse to trade again!
  10. Got the opportunity to meet him once. Really cool dude, some great stories.
  11. Real. Metal looks highly polished, panels fit right, hood looks thin, wheels that I haven't seen in scale before. Even paint, no foil lines, light green windshield tint...
  12. I think those are Metal Machines or something. I've seen two versions of the Bus - one weathered with a cyclops light, the other clean and might not have the light, not sure.
  13. Look at the kit in person before buying, if possible. Research builds online, look for flaws, etc. Buy it. Open it, look at everything, read the instructions, oogle at the decal sheet. Look at paint options, engine swaps, wheels and tires, interior bits... ultimately, rusty junker or roller/streetable vehicle. Draw a picture of it, sometimes.
  14. Nobody's been on since the thing got reinstated.
  15. Anniversary of Nelson's death?
  16. Second person in as many weeks skipped out on a CL deal.
  17. It's a '69 Galaxie 2-door. I'll see if I can get pictures of everything.
  18. Heavy-sixer Atari 2600 for $5. Hope to flip it to a buyer for double, but I might keep it.
  19. A Snaptite Caprice already done, a built Ford LTD, a built '37 Ford Panel, a curbside lowrider '51 Chevy sedan.... and a built Johan Cadillac hearse with rear end damage and a parts body for the same with the grab irons and rear end intact! The price (including a heavy-sixer Atari 2600) was $20.
  20. Wonder how much a WFE for a Farmall H is...
