  1. Looks like the Hawk's 12th man is just to cool for greenbay. Patriots and sea chickens. Sweeeeeet!!!!!!
  2. Some how this ended up on big boyz, which is where it belonged anyway. So thanks to whoever moved it. I'll be back in a couple of weeks with some door jamb I molded on updates later.
  3. Nobody has even mentioned the Hawks! I mean HELLO! I'am 12!
  4. Thanks to all.
  5. Amazing as always Jim. Great lookin build.
  6. Sorry I have not posted in awhile, as I am busy with work, and some family stuff. I will be back at it as soon as time will permit. It's an inconvenience as much to me as the ones watching I assure you. Thanks I hope to be back in about a month.
  7. Really nice car.
  8. Thats freakin cool Rich, I stand corrected and more educated. I like the LaMans blue better anyway.
  9. Thanks Jim I might feel up to working on it after work.
  10. X2 like J Gilles band and Tom Petty!
  11. Can't wait to see the color on the body, will it have a two tone?
  12. I'd love to see them Fred I like your work. Hope you don't mind Jason. That BBC looks sweet, but I'm a chevy guy.
  13. I said I'm no expert, and only as good as the Blah blah, you read on the net I wasn't there. And I thought ALL ZL cars were M22 Muncie 4 speeds. I've been a lot more wrong than this before. Keep the posts comin I love to learn and discuss this guys. What a fun site, and I should be working on my door jambs.
  14. Yep, but not LaMans blue the lighter blue with a white vinyl top and R/S grille.
  15. A hemi in a 68 VW Beetle has nothing on this if it were to become reality. I love it in all reality, however my skill as a driver, you would not catch me in that thing with a double barrel shot gun to my head, in all reality. Great build Pat!
  16. Oh yeah! Some where I've seem old flyers for COPO Camaro's, WITH R/S equipment. And even vinyl tops.
  17. Yes Tim most did, and the ones that still exist (very little I might add )have steelies, however many had rally's all the yenko copos had rallies and lots were sold in like 1972 throughout 1973 at dealers with 5 spoke mags. You have to think the COPO ZL1 was literally priced twice the price of a base model V8 with options. This made them extremely hard to sell, so 5 spoke mags were an attempt at selling more, lots were sent back to GM as I understand. Again I'm no expert I was just being conceived at the time.and let's also remember that out of 69 total production I think only six exist in the registry. One # 48 the most original is in Canada, and is the only one in that country. This model has to have some of my imagination in it , or it just wouldn't be quite as fun.?
  18. Thanks rich I thought so, but I think I've seen torque thrust on them as well, in any case thic COPO will have torque thrust
  19. Yenko cars were Copos in 69. however the steel wheels were more common.
  20. thanks Joe. 1/12th scale is just what my out of practice eyes, and hands need.
  21. Well I got an idea of what to do for the hinge side of the door jambs. I will make them as close to stock style as possible. I will fit a template for styrene then make the parts out of .018 thou KS aluminum. First I fit the template then prove it. Next I lay the template out. Then make two symmetrical aluminum parts. Then after some cutting and hammering, I test fit. And I'm happy with how it's going, so work tommarow. Looks like time for a beer and then bed. Thanks for checking all. Joe
  22. Yeah no kidding good luck finding a Chevy Titan in that scale, although that would be very cool.?
