Jell. Is a place where eternally, fire is applied to thee body, teeth are extruded and bones are ground and baked into cakes which are past around.

Cool! I’ve always had a passive secret obsession with girls rolling around on skates in stockings, around a board track like the early days of Harley Davidson racing. Anyway I agree the SBC gets pretty old. The Buick nailhead is one of my favorites, and the 409W is hands down my favorite. Good luck on it. I’m going to give this kit a try someday when I’ve got time. Nice build going thou, can’t wait to see progress.

You don’t sound that upset about that axle. That kinda thing ruins my day! What a hassle getting one part, and a pretty important one I might add. But, with the cost of these kits nowadays, it’s like geez. Anyhow model on I’d like to see this kit built. I was going to get one, but now IDK!?

Who doesn't love a mock-up? Let's see yours!

When I was young I never really liked trac noses, or T buckets for that matter. I was in to Chevelles, Camaros and vettes. I guess I just always loved the sporty look. Then I saw an opel GT for sale when I was in high school, and loved sports cars ever since. One day I got a how to draw street rods and found a picture of a 25 T flat as a fritter and just as low, with a track nose and my whole opinion changed. I was thinking to myself, “ you mean you can turn a T bucket, which at the time I just considered a piece of farm equipment, into a sports car?” My world changed! so here it is in the works. “ when I have time of course.” -

I just love the stance these car take. They look wicked. -
Sweet! Starting to look pretty good! Finish this thing.

Thanks for the tip Ferby. I’m going to have to give it a try someday. I’ve always had ideas for my own artwork then just scanning it. But we’ll see. Nice Merc, BTW. Love that dash.

Really like to see one of these kits covered, as to know for the future if I want one. Do they make a GT 40?

I’ve always wanted to print decals, but I don’t think I’m savvy enough. What printer do you have?

The instrument at the top is a 6” set of calipers, not a micrometer. Just thought I’d let you know.

Wheel Arch Molding Foiling Tutorial

Before I add to Stevens already brilliant technique, I must say bravo to this excellent tutorial. However, in the case of shallow window lines, I have used a tape made for scribing strait edges. Use a Tamiya panel line scriber to define the line then do exactly as Steven mentioned in the post with blue painters tape. It is a labor of love after all, and this hobby requires patience as a prerequisite to premium result. Never have I seen better wheel arch BMF treatment. Thank you Steven for the nothing short of near protection presentation. Joey. -
Yep. I like the clear lacquer left behind for that exact reason. Alclad is hands down my favorite re-chrome. Their black gloss primer is the best. Purple power is also a great ultra-sonic parts cleaner fluid. Wait a minute! try the purple power in the ultra-sonic cleaner for chrome removal??!!

This is a pretty sweet looking frame. We do what we can with what we got! In light of this, I’d say you nailed it. BTW, I think the anti tips and tricks is a start of a great subject.

This is a great looking project! Please do more. If this thing is finished, post it under glass.

One of my favorite kits ever.

T bill, I remember when you did those!

I think the fenders look great that way! Very creative, it’s what this hobby is supposed to be. You probably wouldn’t want to attempt this on a 1/1 car, for obvious reasons. However, it a model! Take it away bro.

What a clean take on a great kit. Thanks now I have to go get another one and build it, as if I’ve got nothing better to do…. Great job!

Hey guys. I’m sure there are a lot of you out there who have built the 1:16 scale MPC release of the sc cobra. I was wondering if there is any PE parts available for that kit? And if not anybody have an idea on how to make the cobra emblem stand out more? thanks
