Hey Michael, the reasone the tri power can't be used is because it was never offered on the camaro and I'm going for some what correctness as a COPO ZL 1. The tri power is cool on the vette and on goats, but fuel pigs not much for response and a tuning nightmare back in the day to quote Smokey Yunick.

That definitely looks metallic. If you want opaque don't use it. -

Isn't it cool a guy can take a model he built 3 decades ago and restore it even better like he's onwed the real car, and say hmm this thing needs a face lift. Very good work Joe. -

That is the cooles project I have ever see, outside of Bill W's 1/8th camaro scratch build in the big boys. The stripes on that Titan is a great touch. -
Tom good to see you here, and thank you very much. How's the half dozen??
-
Thanks Chris. This is my first time doing this kind of detail, that is why I 1/12th is a good thing.?

Thanks Carl, and Len. I hope to come up with some way to do door hinges today, because tommarow I'll be back at my job. I also was wondering if I could hire someone to make some engine decals, I'm afraid I haven't the skill on computers to do it my self.

Thanks Stan, and Jim I'm really having some fun today. Here is some more pictures of the trunk. Stay tuned I really need some ideas on how to do the door hinges.

Do you think you will go with the blue glass I think it really cool, and the scoop is one of my favorites.

This is shaping up to be a really cool looking car, I mean street rod style. The motor is very nice and the interior is, well great.

Doing that many motors at once? I would die i swear! But they look outstanding. Are the tranny's going to stay orange? -
And none other than Ted Nugent on guitar at 17 or 18 years old.

Well worked on the trunk to day most of the day was spent making doors and trunk deck. Here's the drivers door core getting built I used .030 styrene sheet for the skin and .125X.060 for the jams. I cut out two of every thing and glued it all together with Tenx-7R solvent. Then I used dupli-color scratch and bent filler primer to seal them. Next is the trunk. Then I thought I would add a weather seal to the profile of the trunk with .035 round stock. That turned out, so I sealed it and I'm real happy with it. I think I will call it a day thanks for following. P.S thanks to Bill At the big boys for the reference pictures.

Now that is some inspiration if I ever seen some! I would give my left, well what ever I don't need them anymore anyway, for that in 1/1.?
-
Check out what I just bought on flea bay. I got four of them for 1/12 scale at 14.99 for four. ? that was easy!
-
I will be as diligent as time permits Tim. I will be working on the trunk next. Thanks for following along I'll post the door pic's later.

I didn't forget Rich thanks so much. I want to build the ZL1 aluminum block. I'd like to replicate #48 in the registry, LaMans blue. The only real COPO in Ontario and it's for sale by private seller. Will see I love steel wheels and love rally's, but I'm nuts over torque thrust and some had those put on at the dealer.

Well, I hope I will have the time to do this. Quite a while ago my 1/12th corvette took a spill off of the TV, and my 1/12th scale Z28 has been staring me down for, oh 15 years! So I thought I would do a motor swap and wheel change and do a COPO Camaro. I know it won't be perfect, but here her goes. This is the kit.this is the donor.seems such a waste, because the tri power looked really cool.?
