Thanks for all the help with this guys. I've done a lot of research and found that the ZL1 all aluminum motor was quite different, but I don't care. I'm going to build it anyway. I find doing the research that you could get them about any way you want as long as it had the one inch sway bar and the disc brakes, hell some even had an R/S package. Casey I'm going to do my best with the engine, however it is the least of my worries as I have to open the doors and build the jams. Snake I like the rally's best, but I'm going to try making steel wheels on my lathe and dog dish as well, if it don't work I will try painting the rally's body color and make dog dishes.

I was thinking about building my 1/12 scale z28 302 camaro as a COPO and don't know if the r/s wheels will work, if I cut out the caps and make the ones found on the COPO in my lathe? The motor is from the 67 corvette kit same scale obviously. Any links or first hand experience would be helpful before I decide to do this.
