Where I'd the HL in Henderson. I delivered to Vista Materials twice last week. I'm up.there at least once a week. I'd like to swing in there.

Well, you did bring Oprah in it kinda. LOL. I know what you mean about Fox. I don't think they could do any worse than ESPN. Like a few said earlier, I liked the PS Trucks. I wanted them to be equal to the cars and run together. But, they didn't take off like they had hoped. The trucks should have big blocks, not small blocks, and competed against the cars. I think that woulda really done PS some good. But that's just my observation on the truck comment.

Iam suffering from a lack of motivation, bad. I have 2 pick ups, 5 cars and 5 big trucks currently in process. I sit down, set my stuff out, get the parts out and then end up lookin at everything. I sit there for a few, fiddle around, put everything away. Today I sprayed a little and brushed some paint on, but that was it. There are a couple I'd like to get done for a show in September. I hope the motivational bug bites soon.

The pro stock class, for about the last 20 years or so, has been dominated by one team each season or seasons. Remember a guy named Ron Krisher, how long did his car dominate the class, Jim Yates how about him or Warren Johnson, now the last 10 years or so it's been KB racing. I like the idea of these changes and hope it goes as planned. My love for the sport is great and want the sport to succeed. It's been a few years now, but I would go to 2 or 3 races a year. Pomona, Vegas or Phoenix. I can only hope that Fox does a better job, like more live races than just 1 and not putting off the start for some BS, non important sport. I hope I can sit and watch the races with my son as I did with my dad. I remember watching the race where Darrell Russell lost his life, Eric Medelens last race, Scott Kallita, or how's this, watching Kenny Bernstein break 300 mph and Tony Schumacher make racing history when he qualified #1, set a national record, won the race and the championship, all on sunday, with my dad. I know new history will be made. I hope my son and I are there watching. Now, back to the thread topic. Pro Mod being added is the best choice, even if it's limited or a shorter PM schedule. I enjoy watching the bikes, I go walk around during the sportsman stuff usually. It's not a big deal as I participate in some of the street legal stuff around my area, Irwindale, till that tracks gone, Fontana and occasionally Bakersfield. I wonder how long this has been brewing. For them to act this quickly, a week, it's must have been since the "exotic" metals were found in KB racings engines. They just now figured it was time to honor the history of the class. My shop teacher in high school was divisional racer, did pretty well. He got offered a Pro Stock ride, but it was at the beginning of the tube chassis rule and the guy that offered him the ride backed out. The Pro Stock class is gonna be the NASCAR of NHRA. A drivers class, which I like. Basically, identical cars, heads up racing. I'm looking forward to next season.

It's that way at my HL. Lots of old to the shelf kits on clearance. Lots of empty spaces. Thought it was just this particular store, guess it's all over.

Well this update is a week longer than expected. That's life. The chassis is painted Testors One Coat metallic red, forget name of color. The engine is assembled, just needs the accessories. It is painted the same red with Testors White Lightning on the valve covers.

I love all of it. Always will. I've never been a NASCAR fan, never will. Im with Chris as well, add Pro Mod. Even if its a partial season like P/M. ESPN has something to do with the ratings on TV. When they keep shoving the drags off to continue the live coverage of midget billiards or high school ping pong or whatever BS sport that's on before them really pisses me off. Then they schedule them late on a sunday. I drive truck, I leave around midnight. Which means I can't watch it, and there are 8 other drivers at my company that love drag racing and can't watch. I hope with Fox Sports they can bring the ratings up. Give the drags a decent time slot, like 5pm not 8pm. I know production and editing would have to be done while most races are happening, or show them live like the roundy round cars.

Someday I tell ya, someday. I'll have an area that is like that.

Most of the newer, last 10 years, are designed for 7 cars. The low pro tires are to get the extra height. I talked to a guy once that had a late 70s cabover Freightliner 9 car hauler. He had to upgrade to a lower sittin Pete so he could haul SUVs.

I have two of the Petes waiting for me at a LHS. I might be picking them up tomorrow.

This is on a galaxy tab2 7.0 and quotes seem to work. here's me quoting without fixing anything. It seems to be fine now. I'm using my phone, like usual. I need to try signing in on my tablet and see how it works.

I'm guessing a combination. In regular replies it works fine, only with quotes. Spell check doesn't work all the time either. Other than the quoting delay/mistyping and the spellcheck, I haven't had any issue with the new format.

^^I'm having the same issue, but it's only when I try to quote. I too am using an S5. Your not alone.
