  1. Another Ebay find, this one is in very nice condition. The chassis and tub appear to have not seen paint and the body is partially cleaned up, some badges have been removed and it needs some gentle work done. while my other Camino will be a custom this one will be mostly stock in appearance. Modelhaus bumpers just need slight tweaking to fit better. Fresh from the box... Disassembled...

  3. Just a little test fit...
  4. Primer makes things look so clean, but i'm looking forward to some color.
  5. Thanks Tommy, no it is an old AMT kit from the 60's.
  6. Thanks guys. Richard, I'm not sold on them either. I stuck'em on with future just to see what they look like. Right now i'm leaning towards BMF!
  7. I have decided on this style paint by the man, Gene Winfield. Color will be more yellow than gold. Thanks again for the interest.
  8. Thanks Carl, since I have untill August for a deadline I'll be taking some time on this one just to get it right.
  9. Thanks Tim. That's the plan Al, remove what's left of the rear frame and clean things up. Ya gotta stop some where though!
  10. Thank you.
  11. Thanks Stephen...
  12. One last update for today, roughed in a rear clip and getting ready to fill and clean the rest.
  13. I won't be able to do this in 10 days but at least I pulled you from lurking in the closet and commenting!
  14. Thanks Al. It is the Revell Special Edition kit, I wanted the front even lower. Just needed a little gentle bending and some CA glue to help stay. We should bring our builds to the meetings just to see how we're doing!
  15. Need to know what kit these are from please or if you have a set will trade? The fronts are not as deep...
  16. Started a Club Build this weekend. Working on the chassis and stance at this point. Re-worked the front suspension to lower it, cut out the rear for some PPP Modified tires and got the rear axle cut down, pinned and glued back together. Gonna have to re-locate the spring mounts and work on a coil set up.
  17. All cleaned up, Fooseifided bumpers and added some scalloped scoops to the side trim. I have decided to call this one "El Diablo" from the DC Comics

  20. Bumpers and tail lights added. Just trimming and fitting at this point...
  21. Absolutely Beautiful, a great looking model with plenty of custom detail. Nicely done.
  22. Interesting. What material are you using for the body and spring mods? It looks like card stock?
  23. I guess there is always more room for proof reading! And thanks for the interest and comments...
