  1. Well it does not have the just sanded look, but it is beginning to look a little worn. First attempt at using Sea Salt chipping. I'll still be doing quite a bit of weathering with powders and washes.
  2. Welcome aboard!
  3. Should be a good one!
  4. Very well done. Where are the decals from?
  5. I wasn't sure at first when you started this one. But you have convinced me. Good job!

  10. I almost always buy at the LHS, fine store, close and friendly owners. I am blessed.
  11. Thanks guys. I really want to try some washes and some salt chipping. but I will be doing a little sanded look also. I would like to make the sanded area look more to scale if you know what I mean. The way it looks now is just a sanded model to me.
  12. Smooth and flowing!
  13. Only 13 posts until some else said yes! I use Tamiya primer and have not had any problems, but have not built a recently produced kit either! Have you tried a water based primer? I have done this 1:1 when a customer wanted lacquer over enamel. (Color Choice)
  14. If you look closely in the back ground, you can see your wife giggling and working the real light switch!
  15. How do you two tone and get the chipped look together?
  16. Good looking mods on this, I like the grill treatment and the in the weeds look.
  17. Built this about four year ago, nothing fancy just a plain Jane kinda build. While waiting on some paint for the Under Slung I figured it's time to do a make over. Just getting started, sorting out parts and cleaning up for new paint. I really like these new wheels from Pegasus. Got it just a bit lower in the rears. Not sure about colors yet, but it will be weathered and worn. Thanks for looking....
  18. Well done, it was an amazing car.

Thanks guys, I took a close look last night and the is no way the rears are coming off without breaking something. So they will stay until I gain the confidence to paint the white walls on!

The grill is from the 37 Ford Truck, I ground the back off and shortened it. If you look closely you can see a pin stripe bunny on the radi!
  21. Makes me wanta run down to the A&W! Lots of engine detail. I like it, great colors, interior and the tail lights are well done as well.
  22. Thanks Del, that was part of the plan. There sure are a lot of 32's out there!
