  1. This time of year it is very difficult to do any spray painting and I spend my hobby time building. With that in mind this will be a Parts Box Jalopy/Rat Rod (I hate that term) Using the front cowl of the model A and the body of a 32 Sedan I came up with this. I have Z'd both ends of the 29 chassis, added a Nascar rear end and a suicide front axle. Power will be a 426 from the Tony Nancy double dragster kit, with a scratch made adapter for 6 single barrel carbs, wheels are left overs from the PB. I will use a fuel tank I found and the front seat from a 32 Ford kit.And anything else I can scrounge up...
  2. Some say "The nut doesn't fall far from the tree" and in this case that would be correct. My son has been building for some time now and this year marks the jump from junior class to adult classes at the shows. I think he builds a fine model...
  3. I like me some restoration...
  4. Looks good even in skirts!
  5. Outstanding model. Please explain about the resin body and fit. Details details please!
  6. It's all good, Metald. People are passionate about all kinds of things and most like to show how smart they are about those things. Me, I'm passionate about GOD, Family and Country. Modeling is just a hobby!
  7. Great inspiration and execution so far. But that's not a gasser!
  8. Thx Prog, I too hate being bipolar, it's awsome!
  9. Thanks guys. When I get a moment I'll post the product I used for the rust.
  10. I do if you need it!
  11. Now that is absolutely gorgeous!!
  12. Another one I started earlier this year, AMT re-issue done up right for the non-Gasser/Gasser crowd. Big Ford power, Alclad Chrome and some real rust for good measure...
  13. Thanks Andy, a 3/4rear shot would be cool and maybe an interior one. But like you said, it's not a replica build. I like to be surprised at the final product too! The focus comes from many hours of training, sacrifice and extreme cost. Not to mention it's winter here and not much else to do! 1-2 emojis are ok but I do have my limits.
  14. Great looking model here. I like your clean building style and attention to detail. I do agree about the wiring also, in scale those would probably be the size of garden hose. You don't necessarily need exact size but smaller is better. I have had good results with computer wire and I have stripped wire and used the individual pieces. Three or four twisted together and painted black make a convincing wire harness. Your doing a great job here...
  15. One last test fit and then disassembly. Please disregard the interior color, THAT is not happening! Got most everything cleaned up and ready for primer, just need to fit the shocks now...
  16. ADHD strikes again, but in a good way! Now focus...
  17. Thank you everyone!
  18. So clean...
  19. Awsome painting!
  20. The struggle is real
  21. Focus! Stay focused, now keep it going...
  22. Too Cool...
  23. Thanks Vince, but as always there is much room for improvement.
