  1. I second that.
  2. Painted the upper body. hopefully I won't peel the bottom with the tape.
  3. Some 3D stuff. An LS3 V12, a spare block, a Ford 427 and my first figure.
  4. Well then, I am REALLY impressed!
  5. Did you do the text too or did you insert your photo in an old ad? Either way, they are great.
  6. They are #2 crimp beads. I probably should use hex seed beads.
  7. I'll let it harden and use low tack tape.
  8. Got paint on the bottom half. Sorry Anthony, my can of beige acted up. The masking tape took some of the primer with it. Now I am scared of masking the bottom half.
  9. Added air line fittings. I promise they will get straightened. These are the wheels I am planning to use.
  10. Added the rear suspension, tank supports. Tried the cab bottom, sleeper bottom and the crane base on for size. I think my chassis is long enough.
  11. I'm about to try figures. I have one on the way from Shapeways. I like your compositions and the way they tell stories or they leave you imagining the story.
  12. X2
  13. About 6 to 8 inches. Hard to tell with all the drifting.
  14. This will likely impinge on my bench time. A bit of a blow last night. thegarbage man couldn't reach the pick up handle with his arm so he had to get out of the truck, pull the bins over the fence, empty them and put them back behind the plow bank. He will be sore tonight.
  15. For me it was my occupation. I was a pipeline landman aka right-of-way agent, property agent, property officer. I'm the one who negotiated land rights with the landowners, was the go between during the construction of the pipelines. (owner/ company/contractor), and settled the claims after . I used to joke about knowing everyone from the Alberta border to Montreal but only on one side of the highway.
  16. Love it. this touches close to home as I once owned a '64 GT Hawk.
  17. KFS stuff is very well made. I had stsrted it for another project but used some thing else. I’ll show it tomorrow.
  18. Started putting the frame together, then I'll use it for mockups.
  19. My wife had a '76 Volaré which stalled on left turns. It turns out it was a defective carb, something with a wrong jet. They knew about it yet charged me for several tune ups that never improved anything. The local Gulf service station told me to fling the carb in the bush and go buy a new one from the Chrysler dealer. He said they normally don't stock carbs just kits but they stock carbs here as they know aboutthe defect. Sure enough, the new one had a plug in the body where they had drilled a hole to get to that jet. Never had a problem after that.
