I have two of those which I had bought for their engines. Some of you may remember I had built all four Studebaker R engines. They appear to be different vintages of the same kit. One is a gluebomb with original box and instructions which appear to be very old. It is missing the upper front left corner of its roof. The other is newer, but is complete and came in a candy box. This will be the one I'll use in this build. remembering the comments about front fascias in the recent Shelby and Ferrari builds I looked ahead in the instructions. It does say to install the fascia AFTER the chassis, however I tried it and it goes in. So this one will have no seams.

Hasn't hit 100 here in 40 years.

On a whim, I emailed the shop of a man who I used to know 35 years or so ago. We were members of the same old car club and had traded several models. His son responded, saying his dad had passed and they still had several models and he offered them to me since some of them might have been built by me. How about that?

Et voilà! As usual, I managed to do a few smears and messes upon completion.

It is a 57 and is missing the louvres in the exhaust opening. The 58 is similar but has an "eyebrow" over the round lights.

Engine is done. Interior almost there. Forgot the handbrake but I think I can get it in there with tweezers. Doing things backward.

Love it. And you are right, it is waiting for a trailer. One like this: I went back to the workbench to find your source for the wheels. It is not mentioned other than they are resin. Where did you get them?

Pecking away at the interior. Completed the wiring of the engine. Added throttle lever shaft and fuel line.
