  1. A pefect example of the vagaries of old age. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why the exhaust overbend didn't line up with the rear axle and that the driveshaft was too short. Then I clued in.... I had lenghtened the frame. Sheesh.
  2. Added fuel and vacuum lines. My really thin copper tubing (transformer wire) seems to have disapeared so the vacuum line is out of scale.
  3. I think we are approaching a level stance, however, The real answer won't come until the wheels are on. I can make a set with an assortment of resin wheels and some tires from a monogram classic which are the right size.
  4. The tank body sits too high, had to channel the front lower panel and add a brace against the back panel.
  5. Added some bolts to hold it all together.
  6. Added some channels to reinforce the frame under the tank body.
  7. Thanks Charles. I'll look into that. Likely a channel on each side.
  8. And I found a typically Canadian paint scheme.
  9. Working on the engine brought back a lot of memories of the one I had rebuilt for my '34.
  10. It looks like I got the wheelbase right.
  11. Did a bit of eyeball engineering and the frame needs to get a 10mm extension.
  12. I was going to use the kit's frame. i suppose it should reinforced for the weight but then who will see it?
  13. I agree. I wasn't familiar with the type. You nailed it.
  14. Revell '41 Chevy + Mr.Flintstone tanker + assortment of resin wheels. Is this big enough to be here or should it be in light commercials?
  15. That is very realistic, especially the middle one.
  16. It is a a turbo assembly but a single. The thing on the right is the air cleaner. We are looking at the backside of it.Glad you are liking this.
  17. Thank you muchly, Mr. Clark, sir.
  18. Are there plans available to scratchbuild one of these? I know the're available already built but I am finding myself in budgetary restraint these days.
  19. Small Block Chevrolet from the Alter Nomad kit. Looks LT1ish to me.
  20. Hey Pat, it looks like you have a bit if work ahead of you.
  21. In the days of the Diamond T most likely. Today it is common to see two stacks on a 6 via y pipes.
  22. I was going to build the Parts Pak Corvair 145 for display. However, it doesn't have the engine cooling fan shroud so I built it for the diorama.
