Most kit tires appear to be 10.00-20. Most rubber/resin repops appear to start at 11.00-22. Does that mean that if I buy Resin wheels I have to buy tires too?

I reread the box, the instructions and all I can see is a reference ta it being Cat powered. However, the fine print a.k.a painting instructions says blue or yellow, so either is feasible.

When my wife saw the two little pictures she said "What about the others?", the other being four other collector cars I have owned in the past. So I hung them up too. 1931 Ford Model A, 1940 Packard 110 Touring sedan, 1964 Studebaker GT Hawk and 1947 Olds L78 Fastback sedan.

Is the Cat engine in this kit a 3208?

I've seen a guy pull up into a rest area withy a set of doubles only to dicsover it didn't have another entrance. He had to separate, back them unto the highway shoulder, reconnect and move on. He wasn't a happy camper.

My guess is yes....one trailer at a time.

Thanks Scott. I wetsanded with 1000grit. Managed to go through the sharp raised areas as you said not to do. So I gave it another coat. Got rid of the fuzzies. How do I smooth the bottom of the door shut lines?

Added framed photographs of my two 1:1 cars. Started installing my Shapeways casters to the various stands & dollies.

Right on the heels of the two Fords, another delivery. A nice little fork lift for the dio.

Two N600's from Motor City Resins and some casters from Shapeways. This is the first one of a stash I bought on eBay. It is the engine from the Aerovette.

Well, the Packard Super 8 in posting #9 has arrived. It was put on display today. It is a bit "large" being 1:24 so I'll keep it away from the others. Hope you like it.

Very nice lean work. I'm envious. It also solved a mystery for me. I just bought a Chevy mid-engine on eBay and couldn't figure where it was from. Now I know.
