Wow Mike, Those kits are such lumps of rancid styrene. But you did this one justice, and I love the scratched bed work. You seem to have a knack for bringing it to the hobby table, that's for sure! I like it lots!!! David S.
This BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH with Photobucket is just too much!! I knew something was odd when I couldn't even log in without turning off my ad blocker. And now 400.00 dollars just to post pics!! I would have loved to see what you had there. David S.
That's mighty nice of you Don!! I love VW's,
and Volksrod is even better. I look at every
kit of a VW beetle just to see if any were made
with fenders separate from the body.
Nice build, . . . . from years ago!!
David S.
I love it so far, and I can't help but agree with Kit on the stance issue. That can make or break a good build in any scale for sure!! I have a model A roadster build in the planning stages yet, and I keep bouncing back and forth about the wheels and stance ideas. I'm looking forward to more on this one!! David S.
They used to run the Trans-Am series at Road America here where I live. That was one of my favorite race weekends! Nice job on this Mustang build!! David S.
Yeah, those kits are kinda crappy indeed!! I buy one from time to time just for some of the parts that are worth it. But I won't ever pay more than $6.00 for one!! David S.
Terry, I would use a good lacquer primer (like Dupli-color) because then it does not matter what type of paint you use after that. That body really looks good by the way, you must be very happy with the outcome so far!?! David S.
That is a good point Tom!! Well . . . . then I
have to add that I like A buckets as well.
Nice A bucket Andy!!
David S.
P.S.- I just loved the look with the 37 Ford wheels,
but this is a rather hi-tech build though.
