  1. I like it Mike! At first I thought you were painting the interior orange because of the way the photos looked, but it looked kinda cool that way if it was. My '62 build is stalled. I still have half of the foiling to do, and that is very time consuming for me! Nice work, she looks great!! David S.
  2. That's a lot of parts Bob!! I'm glad you are posting this build here for us, I love it, but now I would be afraid to try and build one. But I'm glad that you are, that's still cool with me. It's a sharing kinda thing, . . right!?!
  3. Yeah!?! I was wondering about this one just like a month ago!! David S.
  4. Looks kinda cool that way though! David S.
  5. Now that's what I'm talking about!! Well . . . . I like it I mean!
  6. Looking very cool Pat!! What did you take the paint off with on that Jag? David S.
  7. It's going to be very cool!
  8. WOW!! Yellow is a very popular color! David S.
  9. You sure come up with some cool ideas on how to do things!!! RESPECT!!! David S.
  10. Ferby, I hope you take this build to a model car show somewhere! I think it would be a big hit with people at events like that. It is sooo sweet!! David S.
  11. Very cool Gerald!! Very cool indeed! I can't wait to see where this one goes. David S.
  12. I love kool builds like this!! It looks like a period beach racer or something. David S.
  13. Thanks Jason! I think it will look good once I get the body lower and the grill a little shorter. Then that gap between the frame and the hood sides will look better!!
  14. I guess nobody uses that one anymore, huh Greg!?! It used to be, "Do you have the 3 nuts on that Goat, or is it the Rochester(Carter?) 4 barrel?" HotRod terminology is fun, right!?!? I could start a thread for just that, and see where it goes? David S.
  15. Seeing as this about exactly a year since I have done anything with this build. Maybe my digging this out is like some sort of a "Omen" telling me that I can maybe do something with this kit once again!! Hopefully I can get some paint on it before it snows here, or something like that!?! David S.
  16. I like that hood just the way it is!! It has a weathered look that seems just right! David S.
  17. I think the Caddy motor is a good idea for sure. And giving me the 392 Hemi would also be a good idea!?! LOL!!! I too will be following this build! David S.
  18. Yes indeed, what an amazing find that was!! I am sooo jealous right now. I would give my wife's right hand for a good rebuildable '58 Fairlane 500 Sedan kit. There is a build thread going on right now on a different forum. David S.
  19. I just signed up with Postimage.com, and I like the easy to use format. I tried to use Flickr but had a hard time using it for 3 party hosting. And that's the only reason I went there! I don't need to worry about my hard drive (500GB) so I can't see any other reason for these sites. David S.
  20. In my opinion if have a mint kit that you think might be reissued by the big companies, then maybe hang in there for a while. If I had a beautiful Johan kit that I have always been wanting to build, then build it! But I had a kit that I payed too much for and built it, then like 3 years later they dug the mold out and dusted them off quite nicely, and well . . . you get it!! David S.
  21. Yes that is very cool!! To me it's like "StarWars pod racer meets VSTOL fighter jet" I love it, very creative!! David S.
  22. Rick, I can see why that class graduated, that's a great bunch of '66 Chevys! Kind of like a dealerships front row of goodies. David S.
  23. Chad, You gotta make 'em give you a new body!! The more they see these requests come in, the sooner they will fix the problem. If I was working for revell I would have had a larger flat box with a separate compartment for the body alone!! David S.
  24. Did any of you even notice that he is selling 15 kits for that price! Those are the "Make and Take" packages for having at model car shows and big club get togethers, etc. It comes with big promotional posters to put up in the area and so on. David S.
  25. I thought that color looked good too, but I didn't even realize that it was a metalic color at first! David S.
