"Bring Out Your Dead" Completion Build--ROUND 2 Is On!
mod3l Lover replied to Snake45's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Mine is still in the works!! I plan to build it yet in my separate thread here this year for sure! But I would love to see another thread to be further motivation for all the other kits that are sitting in boxes under my work bench!?! Maybe one that runs through 2019 to keep us going through the brand new year! Maybe?? David S. -
I love those cars, I will be watching for sure! David S.

Unbelievably awesome build Steve!! I just keep looking at the pics. And every time I do, I see another great bit of cool detail work!! David S.

That bus (Kombi) is so sweet! I would have loved to see a casting from that?! Please, please bring this back? "If you build it, we will watch"!!! David S.

This looks like a fun build
mod3l Lover replied to R.D.F.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thanks for the info, and I have a Miss Deal kit already here! But if I could swing it to get the Model King kit, then I can still build the Miss Deal as it is!! That would be cool!?! David S. -

Yeah, but at what cost? LOL!! I was kinda thinking of building one myself. With a very limited budget!! But it looks like a cool kit though!! Sorry for the thread hijacking Richie!!! -

That would be awesome for sure!! And I think there is a resin body of an altered Ford Falcon just like that out in the after- market world! David S. -
Hey Jim, Welcome, first of all!! I was going to suggest maybe a cool "Snap-Tite" kit of some kind. They are great for getting your "Mojo" on!?! But you being a Mopar man, there is not too many snappers out there for your tastes! (At least not in recent release stuff) Over-all though, Mopar kits have many good choices that have been newly tooled beauties. Revell has the '70 Charger, '70 Cuda and Round2 has many re-released Mopars. If I were you, I would just get looking for kits on the internet, then when you find something go buy it maybe at a local hobby shop, or Hobby Lobby, etc.!! Best regards, David S.

I have wanted to do this exact same thing as Bill since this Foose kit came out!! I have a salvage Fleetline kit already! David S.

I picked up a late gift from my wife on Friday. She bought it, I had to go get it from a local variety store! 15% off on all model kits made the total $22.41 I plan to post some pics of stuff inside if anyone has any interest!? It comes with triple stripe whitewall tires, and a 2 sided set as well! David S.

Eric, that is just amazing work for sure!! The very best dioramas are the cool old buildings, if you ask me!!! The El Camino is also top notch on the patina and build! David L. Snoeyenbos (Snoeijenbusch)

I like the '67 Corvette scoop better. (IMHO!) That one just looks like it belongs there!! David S.

If I Ran Revell....

Kinda interesting to think what that kit would even sell for today!?!? David S. -

I think that would be great! Many older modelers like to have kits as slump busters also. Make a cool build in the curbside realm!?! The '69 Impala has been a kit that I have only dreamed about ever owning, so using a even AMT '67 as a donor would still be mighty fine! But there still are Ford fans out there too! LOL!! Also a few cool old Ramblers and AMC kits would need to make the list, I would think? Soooooo? . . . . . . . Have you applied for the job yet? David S. -
3D printed Turbo chargers
mod3l Lover replied to astroracer's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Mark, this stuff looks great! Those turbos look to be about the best example of a turbo set up that I have seen so far!! But to put them here, and not offer them up for sale!!?!! Shame on you, that's just mean! LOL!! Nice stuff, keep it up, David S. -
Yeah, what he said!! Museum quality beauties there Steve. I'm a big fan of your builds, you inspire me greatly! Well, . . . . that, and make me a bit jealous!!! David S.
