  1. I think your paint skills are fine, trying different types of paint, and how you spray it on, is a thing that takes a bit to figure out!! It looks a little dry, but people do that if they are afraid of getting runs in the paint. You can always add clear top coat with a bit of fine wet sanding in between!?! The black truck looks really cool like that!! David S.
  2. That looks great Dan!!
  3. Wow!!! That looks fantastic, I have wanted to see those carbs get built on something for a long time now, so cool!! And that green color really pops for sure! I love it!! David S.
  4. Man-O-man!?! Wow . . . now your just showing off! LOL!!! I like all 3 of them Steve, and will be watching this with some eager anticipation also!! I just love all your projects, and I'm quite sure these will be a trifecta of building beauty as they all are Steve!!!! David S.
  5. Any updates on this one Bill? Please!?! David S.
  6. What means dis word, finished? LOL!! But seriously, I have maybe 3 or 4 that are on the benches right now. But there is another 10 or 15 lurking under the big bench waiting to be rediscovered!! (hopefully!?!) David S.
  7. That bronze color will look amazing with a nice clear top coat on it!! I love it!!!
  8. I could see a few 4x4 `66 flareside pick ups showing up before too long for sure!?! And I'm hoping that a bed will follow of the standard type, or non-flareside, or whatever! The future is looking bright, I think for sure!! David S.
  9. Yeah, I like it too! I think the Model King kit should be a big hit also!?!
  10. This looks to be a very welcome release! IMHO!?!
  11. I am quite happy about a bit of better weather here in S.E. Wisconsin! I hope to get a little of the clearcoat squirted on the Mustang!?! So it should be able to be done by the 31st!
  12. Isn't neat how it used to be a bag with fluid in it. Then milk jug looking plastic parts, and now your headlights just fill up with water just in case you might need some!?! LOL!!!
  13. Did you ever find something for `31 Phil? David S.
  14. I know one kit comes with the up top Sam! Those were something I was checking out lately on the Wacky World Web!!
  15. Very nice build Patrick, I love it! My best friend was a mechanic on the Gama-Goat when he was stationed in Germany. He hated driving them because they have no leg room at all. And are loud, rough running, and smelly little buggers!! And slow!! David S.
  16. Very cool indeed!! That's one of my favorite Sci-Fi kits that has ever been made. I have wanted to build one since I was a kid!! David S.
  17. That's pretty cool ?
  18. I like it a lot, very kool VeeDubs!!
  19. Does that kit come with door panels? I can't remember!
  20. Thanks for the advice Vince and Tom!! I completely forgot about that little very effective method! Will it still work if the hood has clear coat on it? I plan to touch up the spots where it chipped off with some little dabs of silver paint and a fine brush. But the wrinkles are the most noticeable problem. No matter how it works out in that regard, I'm going to finish it just the same!! David S.
  21. This is looking cool Tyler!! I used to use thread on engines too, I still have a survivor with thread on the engine for everything!
  22. Dann, this is too much info for my feeble mind to even try and comprehend here!?! But that last pic of the `73 Roadrunner is out of this world kinda kool!!! I love it! I personally have no guess as to what is in store for us! David S.
