  1. Uh-oh Ira's at it again!! Here's a tip: you can use bleach to strip chrome in less than a minute, although it doesn't take off the layer under the chrome and over the plastic, primer will take care of that, but make sure you wash it!

    WOW is that yellow!
  3. Hey, haven't been able to post lately because of school. So after I finished my Roadrunner, it was getting close to school starting up, so I started up a NASCAR project. Why you ask? Because, NASCARs are easy and you can set them down for a day or two and not be lost about where you were on it! So I decided to build this one. I have already built the other one, the one with the white stripes. The paint is MM Guards Red, the clear is Future and interior is a can of gray primer I had lying around. I didn't build it exactly box stock, they wanted me to paint the chassis white and rollcage white, but I think this color combo worked out better. This is a pretty basic build, no aftermarket stuff. Well, here's the pictures. Well, thanks for looking!
  4. Cool! Are the wheels stationary or do they turn? Looks great...
  5. Looks great from here! Shame the window fell out, but oh well.. Did you weather the engine bay and did you put on a air cleaner or is it just the carb?
  6. Paint and engine looks great Mike! Keep it up!
  7. My school schedule makes me go from the cafeteria, to my locker, and walk down a 1/4 mile hallway to get to spanish in four minutes. It takes me all of the time to do that. And I walk fast... And I'm not joking when I say a quarter mile hallway, it is literally a quarter mile.
  8. Clay.. Clay.. Clay, this is absolutely amazing. Each post is better than the last! It looks real.. Wow.
  9. Most yard sales around me are just "Susie's baby clothes" and "Mom's old kitchen stuff" Yet to find one kit.
  10. Probably real thin aluminum, glass is probably lexan/plexi. Engine and prop is probably 400 pounds at the most. Frame is probably aluminum tubing, wires. Skin is probably some type of cloth that is hard, but really light, probably Fiberglas.
  11. I saw a 68/69ish Camaro sitting at a mechanic shop. Dark red with white stripes. Rally wheels, really clean. Late 60s Elco. Parked under a tree, letting moss grow on it. Shame. Late 40s/early 50s Chevy sedan. Not sure what it is. Sitting in a driveway, no front bumper. Been there for as long as I can remember. I hope it's a wip. Dark red, white top.. 1969/70 Mustang, sitting beside a garage. Dark green, no fenders or hood. Sitting on jackstands.
  12. Coronets are cool! I hope it does get you over the hump because you do great work!
  13. Today it's just muggy outside. 75-85ish. Typical for August in Ohio.
  14. Real nice finish. Great job. That'll look real cool..
  15. Both models looks great! 4-link looks great.
  16. Looks great! Will you lower the body at all? It seems a little high up.
  17. Slicks on the back AND the front?!! Wow that's crazy! Great job.
  18. They look great! Will it just be the tire or will there be hubs and stuff?
