    Found this old build today while doing some switching around things. Built back in the '80's for my daughter. Pretty much OOB .... upholstered the interior with leather and corduroy inserts. Also gave it a little detail under the hood. Paint was MM French blue and the other blue I don't remember what it was called. No clear and no polish...but O.K. with me.

    My favorite is "metallizer polishing aluminum plate" . No real effort needed to make it look great! When I run out of my current supply, I'll have to try something else.

    Fairly close is Tamiya "sky" , but is a flat colour, so you could clear it if gloss is your goal. Just sayin'......
