  1. Very true!
  2. Thank you! I can't wait to finish it. Has been taking me way to long to do this haha
  3. Hey guys, had some time to get back on this project, was able to get some progress on some small details. Fog lights and front splitter were installed, the wheels, door handles, locks and turn signals were all painted on. Small details are all that's left and some window trim coming soon! Home stretch! Here is how she sits now :
  4. Great advice guys, thank you! I think I'm going to try the dry brush method once I get some time to work on the car again. Seems to be the best bet for me. I will most definitely try the BMF method in mind for future builds though!
  5. Hi all! I'm in the process of finishing up a revell 69 camaro and was wondering how some of you were able to paint the molded logo on the side. Here is a picture to show the camaro writing I would like to paint in silver. I usually use a toothpick for very fine detail painting but can not master this one. Any advice!? How do you usually get body writing painted? Please share and thank you!!!
  6. Love the color choice. Looks great
  7. Stunning build. Truly amazing!
  8. You should have no problem returning a defective can.
  9. Yea, I was able to figure out how to make sure they show up the right way with my phone. Yet another lesson learned! Always learning hahah
  10. Thank you! And yes it's Duplicolor BFM0340 Royal Blue.
  11. Finally had some time to get back on this project, the front and rear bumpers needed clear coat as well as the hood. Just finished the hood!
  12. Duplicolor makes a good primer. Sprays great and covers very nice. I haven't had any issues with it.
  13. Thanks guys!
  14. Very nice! Looks great
  15. Way to bring it back to life! Really great looking build.
  16. Awesome save! I have a couple glue bombs laying around from when I was really young, might have to give those a second chance now. Great build and love the color!
  17. Let me just pick my jaw up from off the ground. What an amazing job!
  18. Haha yes. I didn't add the fender flares but the kit has them as well!
  19. A small alignment would be good haha the picture shows it worse than it really is
  20. Thanks!
  21. Really comes out good, I am a fan!
  22. Hey all! Just finished up the Tamiya Morris Mini Cooper today! This is my 5th build and I learned so much on this build and I can not wait to build another. This kit is box stock other than spark plug wires, aluminum exhaust tip (I extended it for a blast pipe style look) and interior flocking. For the "carpet" I used embossing powder for the first time and it worked great! For the body I actually used the LMG polishing kit on the factory plastic mold color and was very impressed on how the outcome was after wet sanding, and finished it off with some rubbing compound and wax. There was definitely a noticeable difference in the finish. Also I decided not to glue the roof on so I can always remove it to show off the interior and then put the top back on. I am almost finished with a Camaro so that will be up here soon enough as well. Hope you all enjoy, Thank you for looking! Not sure why the wheel looks so crooked, but it's really not that bad at all in person! Hahaha Shot of the engine before the interior was added. Some small engine parts were added after this picture as well but hard to see once the hood is open Thanks again for looking!
  23. if you want a great looking blue with a small hint of metallic flake try Duplicolor BFM0340 Royal Blue. Just shot a Camaro with it and it's a beautiful color.
