  1. That's from a movie? I used to hear it as the sig line at the end of some TV show (can't remember which one).
  2. I saw Edgar around '74 or '75 and Johnny made a cameo. Brownsville Station opened for them.
  3. 1--The Rapper--The Jaggerz 8--For What It's Worth--CS&N Which reminds me: Got a thousand points of light For the homeless man Got a kinder, gentler machine gun hand....Got fuel to burn, got roads to drive!
  4. Oh that's right--they reverted the tooling to the DB4.
  5. 1. Heartbreaker, Zep. 2. All Along the Watchtower, written by Robert Zimmerman but covered by many, prolly most notably by a Mr. J. Marshall Hendrix. 3. Inagoddadavia, Iron Butterfly. 8. Suffragette City, Ziggy Stardust. 10. Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo, written by Rick Derringer, performed by many including himself, but IMHO the best and definitive version was on Johnny Winter And.
  6. Don't Step on the Grass Sam, by the John Kay Orchestra, AKA Steppenwolf.
  7. I might have missed it, but I didn't see the Aston Martin DB5 by Aurora. Also I have a Ford Capri racer by some Japanese company. It seems a bit small for 1/25 but too big for 1/32--seems to be somewhere in between.
  8. Someone already got 3 and 6 but 8 is all yours. That song is amazing. It's like it was written from today's headlines.
  9. I've been singing that song for YEARS! They only made 201 Z16s and they only came in three colors. A common '65 SS body would open up WAY more possibilities!
  10. There ya go! That's pretty much the look I'm going for, more or less!
  11. and .
  12. Okay, you're down for #4.
  13. Here's a somewhat eclectic set: 1. I know what she wants Just a lick on your ice cream cone. 2. As we celebrate mediocrity All the boys upstairs want to see How much you'll pay for What you used to get for free. 3. Sometime I wish that I could Stop! You from talkin' When I hear the silly things that you say. 4. And she's loving him with that body, I just knowit! 5. You and me could ride on bedroom ants... 6. She said "You missed a spot over there." 7. I can hear the ringing of a beat-up old guitar. 8. Once the religious, the hunted and weary Chasing the promise of freedom and hope Came to this country to build a new vision Far from the reaches of kingdom and pope. 9. I can see me bound and gagged, dragged behind the clownmobile. 10. I've come on a few years from my Hollywood highs, The best of the last, the cleanest star they ever had.
  14. And don't forget their snapper '69, another, promo-style chassis. That's a rather nice kit, BTW, and builds into a very nice curbside/shelf model for those who don't care that much about engines and such. Actually, I think the snapper body might be just a little better than the full build Yenko/Z/28 kits.
  15. Correct. I claim no more. Didn't paint or decal it either; it came that way. I only did exactly what I described in the OP.
  16. It was my favorite song of the summer of...what was it, 1979?
  17. Unpainted plastic always looks like unpainted plastic. I use this to my advantage sometimes if the interior of a kit comes molded in a color I want, or like. For the underside? If I had a kit whose chassis was molded in black in metallic gray, I'd glue it together and drive on, but then I'm getting old and VERY lazy. I also wouldn't do that on everything, only on a shelf model or "curbside" build. If you're planning to detail the kit, or do a "nice job" on it, or enter it in contests, you'll prolly want to go ahead and paint all that. Not much of an "answer" to your question, was it?
  18. What do B/CC, A/SC, and B/SC mean? Are they Bonneville classifications?
  19. Well THAT'S different and interesting! I'd weep to see this done to a real '66 Nova, but hey, it's only plastic, and it's not rare plastic, so what the hell!
  20. For those interested: The default SS stripe color was white on Bolero Red and Marina Blue Camaros, unless the car had black vinyl top or black convertible top, in which case it would be black. But I'm pretty sure I've seen both red and blue cars with black stripes, so apparently that could be special ordered.
  21. Bingo! You are a true cinephile. Well done! It was remade under the same name in 2005. In 1996, Jim Wynorski did a nearly all-female version called The Assault. Last year's The Purge was an AP13 remake, too (see it if you don't believe me). And there are some who say that John Carpenter's own Ghosts of Mars was an AP13 remake, though it's been so long since I saw it I couldn't say. AP13 itself is of course a remake of Rio Bravo.
  22. Shiny!
  23. 2--School's Out, Vincent Furnier 4--TCB, BTO 6--Driver's Seat, Sniff & The Tears 7--Witchy Woman, Eagles 10--Bad Company, Bad Company. (Great song!)
  24. I think this is the first one I've seen built. You did a nice job with it. Model on!
