A Volvo "High Roof" day cab is referred to as the Eurotrotter cab. A day cab with sleeper above the cab. A Volvo "High Roof" full sleeper cab is referred to as the Globetrotter cab. I don't know what MAN trucks calls them. In Europe and many other countries, total rig lengths are strictly regulated. Having the shortest prime mover length leaves more space for trailer length payload. Also the maneuverability of the set back front axle configuration is the de facto set up in most other regions outside of North America.
