  1. Kit Form Services use to offer a photo etch sheet with the Caterpillar script and Caterpillar logo. Caterpillar found out and threaten the owner with legal action.
  2. Contact them through their email. Why would anyone buy anything on the net without contacting the seller? I bought some decals from an Australian model dealer years ago and they were great. The brand was Kangaroo Decals. They were for the Cummins Signature and Cummins 600 engine. Ask if they have other types

  4. I have been lobbying Moebius to come out with a modern flat trailer. Something like a Great Dane Freedom spread axle aluminum example. They already have the Hendrickson air suspension tooling. Moebius mentioned that they would like to get out a super singles wheel and tire kit. This would suit the flatbed trailer perfectly depending if the super singles kit was for a trailer or tractor. Italeri is due to reissue the Freightliner FLD120 later this year. If they stick to what their catalog included earlier this year.
  5. According to Moebius Models, all of the their ventures into big rig models were successful; Trucks and trailers. Which means they broke even and made money! As far as being discontinued, the way models and virtually any product for that matter are marketed, manufactures make a single run on several runs of an item. Once those batches are sold out, another run is not made until a large enough demand warrants them. It wouldn't make sense to invest tens of thousands of dollars in tooling for a model and not use them in the future to make more money in their investment. Moebius Models assured me they are committed to offering more big rig truck kits in the future. However, they said tooling costs have risen since their original truck and trailer kit projects were "backed - up" (their word) with projects from their other line of Sci Fi kits. They said truck kits "eat - up" (again, their word) significant amounts of money of their budget for new tooling of projects and they couldn't say exactly when the would be offering any new truck and trailer kits. So, all of those that said they were going to buy the truck and trailer kits before they announced them, great! Those that procrastinated or just discovered those kits, better luck next time!
  6. Looks like something Homer Simpson would wear.
  7. Great detail. I detailed the FLD 120 in a similar way.
  8. We are on the same page!
  9. LOL! Rubber Jackets.
  10. Nice job. I like the Speedway tanker too.
  11. Front and rear air ride. Just like the GMC Scenicruiser bus.
  12. As far as I know, no one. When the 1/16th scale kits were first issued back in the early 1980s, an Australian parts supplier offered several 1/16th scale resin items. Spoke Trilex wheels were just one. Sadly, they haven't been re-issued since the early 1990s.
  13. According to Auslowe, they will be offering LHD parts.
  14. Recently reissued.
  15. You should see what Tim A. has done with his New Ray 579 models. Incredible!
  16. This kit is now available in North America.
  17. Kit Form Services offered a Scania Longline resin kit. Discontinued, but KFS does reissue kits if they get enough firm orders.
