  1. I have the 1/12 Tamiya wR1 Wolf and the Ferrari T4 in the stash pile as well as a pile of the 1/20's The Lotus will be great, do a WIP thread so can follow along Lovin the Gt40....that one is high on my want list, but very rare Cheers
  2. Glad you posted this Thanks for all the tips guys
  3. Thanks for posting this, will definitely try it Sometimes the simplest things work the best and I already have everything I need to do it!
  4. Thanks for that I will wash it again and sand before primer make sure no silicone Will try that baking soda method too. Imagine you would have to change it out a couple of times in the bag to keep fresh stuff absorbing the smell...kind of like in the fridge
  5. Thanks guys, I am going a little nuts with all the house build BS and having multiple hobby withdrawals
  6. His GT40 was featured in a previous issue of the magazine. Cover car, too. You really need to get the magazine... $63 USD for a Canadian "foreign"subscription a year is a bit steep for 9 issues maybe an online version??
  7. In process of moving now, all the Pochers are packed away safe Will get back to this build when time and space permits
  8. Looking great...your build your way You keep teasing me with those Gt40's in the background....drool drool
  9. Great resources, thanks for posting them Keep showing us this gorgeous WIP!!!
  10. I did the Febreze spray and a month long airing in the garage for a Cobra E Bay kit...worked, but took a couple sprays and part rearranging to get it all aired out. I agree with ditching the plastic bags for new ones. Paper doesn't like the wet febreze so careful with instructions and box art. Talk about becoming nose blind when you are a smoker...the kit just reeked!!! Recently used a new dryer sheet (bounce) wrapping the most disgusting vomitus-smelling resin kit I have ever come across...just checked it and it smells like fresh laundry. We shall see how it smells after trimming flash etc It is an old Bugatti T55 from Provence Moulange...a now defunct French manufacturer. God that was a disgusting smell
  11. Mirror finish, wow
  12. Cool, cool, cool !!! You are doing a great job here. Brakes are spectacular, where are they from??? I have a 1/12 Tamiya Wolf and Ferrari T4 in my to do pile which will be my first at that scale. Hope I can make them as nice as this
  13. Now all my modelling stuff is packed up and awaiting transfer to rental house. I don't want to move anything I value until we are ready to fully move in, so I won't set up early there like I was considering. In the meantime I have no tools or desk for any of my hobbies; going to go a little
  14. Welcome to the site I have a 13 yr old and he is just getting into modelling, mostly Tamiya motorcycles Have a good look around the site and tell us what you are interested in, maybe can give you some direction on where to look. If you start a work in progress thread ,WIP, and post some pics of your Charger build we could help even more!
