  1. Thanks for that Yep HLJ is where I ordered it from
  2. Oh yeah, I found the Williams...coming on a slow boat from Japan HLJ to be precise
  3. Ahhh, you are killing me with all those Pete, what an awesome stash!! I love that GTO what manufacturer is that?? ME WANT!!! And the 956 Cool! I spent some time searching for the others, but not going to pay $45 on e bay for these kits as much as I like them There are some Japanese sites where you reserve the kit but I think they are either not in production or just coming out?? I will definitely keep my eyes open for the rest of the Grand Prix Q series Thanks for showing me this, I had no idea they existed Cheers, Scott
  4. Thanks for looking, Pete I didn't know there were other versions of these....will have to check those out Did an outside sunshine pic
  5. Thanks guys It was pretty fun, though more work than straight OOB like the egg plane versions seem to be The kit must have another life as an electric motor model; it has a battery box and large fins off the base/front wings that needed surgical removal Lots of extras to bring it out, but the devil is always in the details Thanks for looking
  6. Got a base made up from an old CD case
  7. Thanks guys, appreciate it Scott
  8. editing the post due to photo bucket idiots...I am just going to stick in photos and ditch all my narrative bs Lotus T99 Diorama for Easter Egg Build I am doing a group April Easter build for Egg models on another site and thought I would share it here too Everyone else is doing Egg Planes, mostly by Hasegawa but I found something different Kit is a Fujimi non scale of the Lotus 99T...rescued from the jaws of my Berner Coco who stole the kit off my bench! I added some brass radiators, meshed vents, large flared polished aluminum pipes, a metal roll cage, side mirrors, a tail light, front and rear disks and some details on Arton Senna driver's helmet Diorama base out of an old CD. Added background photo, checkered skirting and brass pin to hold car on tight! Thanks for looking Cheers, Scott
  9. Coolest version of this kit that I have seen Nice job on the lowering, wheels and decal work You modernized it and brought some 21st century style to it Awesome build!!!

  11. Super Cool man, Super Cool
  12. I am quoting those pictures so we can see them again on the second page. An absolutely perfect duo !!
  13. It is superb
  14. Looks fine to me as well
  15. Great boot recovery. That is one area Skip had noted was weak in the kit She looks really good Harry
  16. Oh my, that is superb work there on the windscreen, standing ovation!!! The build is taking on your wonderful classic look
  17. I was about to ask as I have the Heller 1/24......Was it this kit?? This is an old thread, posted Sept last year btw
  18. Very sharp looking, I like it a lot! The leather of the seats, the wood on the dash and the brown body all go together very well I like the spokes on the wheels as well, you handled that nicely What are you thinking about steering wheels wise???
  19. Ooooh, that is a sweet idea. Have to keep my eyes open for those Great tip, Skip Dash is superb, Harry
  20. The engine detail research and fabrication is a tedious job You are doing fabulous work!!!
  21. Thank god you didn't do the wood Skip would have had a kitten if you made a wood dash on the Jag, factory body paint only I know you can do wire wheels, seen the beautiful work on your Pocher Alfa's, but don't blame you at all for passing at the 1/16 scale wires My eyes and fingers hurt just thinking about trying that
  22. Looks like he just cut around it and left the original in place????
  23. Yep, awesome, was hoping you were going to do that Can't wait to see what happens with the wire wheels
  24. Another great build to watch. Love your WIP's Lightning fast builder with awesome details
